From what I've been told, we don't get to take the real SATs. We have to take some stupid equivelent. Furthermore, it costs twenty dollars and is only done a few times a year, on Saturdays, miles and miles from my town.

1240, 660 verbal, 580 math. Taken as a REALLY stupid (comparatively) Junior, I could have fucking ROCKED this after I made my math comprehension breakthrough thanks to my senior Pre-Calculus teacher. My verbal skills by the end of my high school tenure also ruled what appeared on the test. So I got a 1240, but if I'd taken it again like I wanted, I'd guarantee a 1400+.

 

Of course now I'd probably get a similar score, carried by the verbal much more since my math skills have totally atrophied.

Never studied; took them a few times just to see if I could improve. All my friends were fairly on-edge about doing well. I was like "Whatever...I'm not a moron and I know I'm getting into a good college either way." And I did.
