Guest Choken One Posted April 4, 2003 Report Posted April 4, 2003 Nowadays Schools tend to pimp the ACTs instead...
Guest CanadianChris Posted April 4, 2003 Report Posted April 4, 2003 Never took the SAT, but scored 2250 on the GRE (700 verbal, 780 math, 770 analytic).
Guest welshjerichomark Posted April 4, 2003 Report Posted April 4, 2003 over here the sat's, are taken at ages 7, 11, and 14. last set of them (2 years ago) i got 7,7,7 which is perfect score.
Guest Choken One Posted April 4, 2003 Report Posted April 4, 2003 Me thinks that you didn't take the SAT's...I never heard of anyone...other then idiots scoring 7's on the Sats...Hell, Retards are given 300 pts for correctly spelling your name...

Guest J*ingus Posted April 4, 2003 Report Posted April 4, 2003 Damn, Edwin beat my combined score (1490), so I can't get bragging rights there. Oh wait... I did get a PERFECT 800 on the verbal portion... ::brags:: Also, got a 34 on the ACT.
Guest Mad Dog Posted April 5, 2003 Report Posted April 5, 2003 Never studied for either. SAT: 1410 ACT: 23 I only took them once b/c my teacher said the scores were good enough so I didn't bother taking the ACT a second time.
Guest Angle-plex Posted April 5, 2003 Report Posted April 5, 2003 ACT (1st Time): 23 ACT (2nd Time): 27 Never took the SAT.
Guest EricMM Posted April 5, 2003 Report Posted April 5, 2003 I got a 1410 on the SAT's. Verbal 770 Math 640 Yeah.
Guest ISportsFan Posted April 5, 2003 Report Posted April 5, 2003 Never took the SAT, but got a 35 on the ACT. 36 math, 36 science, 35 English, 34 reading. If I ended up with one or two more questions right on English, I would have gotten the elusive 36. But, I didn't want to take it again because I hate taking tests. Jason
Guest Choken One Posted April 5, 2003 Report Posted April 5, 2003 Could I take the test again just for the fun of it?
Guest ShooterJay Posted April 5, 2003 Report Posted April 5, 2003 SAT: 1340 740 Verbal 600 Math I also got a 720 on my SAT II Writing, which I'm pretty proud of, as well as a 690 on my SAT II American History
Guest BDC Posted April 7, 2003 Report Posted April 7, 2003 Good Lord, do I feel stupid. I remember taking the SATs at one point, got something in the high 1200's. Got a 29 on the ACT. Then again, the stupid things don't test stuff like social sciences, which is where my strengths lies.
Guest DerangedHermit Posted April 8, 2003 Report Posted April 8, 2003 I took my SAT's in June last year, and I got a 1320 (660 each). My brother got a 1250, and he took the ACT's this year and got a 26.
Guest DrTom Posted April 8, 2003 Report Posted April 8, 2003 I took the SATs what feels like forever ago, before you could bring calculators and before essay questions. I doubt calculators would have made a big difference for me, but I would have wiped the floor with everyone if essay questions were around in my day. Anyway, I took the SAT in the 7th grade and got a 1060. When I took it for real, as a junior in high school (1991), I got a 1390. I'm pretty sure the breakdown was 730 Verbal and 660 Math.

When did they allow essay questions? I took them two years ago and I don't remember having essay ?s on there

Guest Samurai_Goat Posted April 8, 2003 Report Posted April 8, 2003 Eh, 1360, with 690 in math, 670 verbal. I probably coulda done better, but, why?
Guest DrTom Posted April 9, 2003 Report Posted April 9, 2003 Eh, I thought the essay questions were already on there. Oh well.
Guest Kingpk Posted April 9, 2003 Report Posted April 9, 2003 I got a 1230, IIRC. 700 Verbal and 530 Math, I believe. The MCAS (Mass' standardized test) was much tougher and I did all right in it (I was part of the first class to take it, back when it was pretty tough).
Gert T Posted April 9, 2003 Report Posted April 9, 2003 1998 SAT: 1050 ACT: 23 (Didn't study) 1999: ACT: 23 (Studied my ass off) The lesson was learned as I've never studied since.
Guest SweetNSexyDiva Posted April 16, 2003 Report Posted April 16, 2003 I took those a long time ago! I don't remember the seperate scores, but I got a total of 1340.
