80's Cartoon/Toyline ???

I vaguely remember a toyline/ cartoon that came out in the late 80's/ early 90's (?) which featured dinosaurs (with weapons and robotic gear added on to them) being ridden by humans.

 

The dinos were living... there may have been both a good and evil faction of men who rode the dinos. Anyone remember this?

 

 

Damn it! Now i have the theme for "Cro" the cartoon stuck in my head!

That link looked like it was something from the 60's so I doubt that's what he's talking about.

Is he talking about the cartoon, where the leader of the good dinos was an Allosauras(sp?) and the leader of the bad dinos was a red T-rex? They wore armor and stuff but when they fought 1-on-1 they pressed some dino-patch on their armor which would morph them back into their 100% dino-selves to fight......anyone know what in the hell I am talking about?

Dino-Saucers or something like that - they came from another planet. It was on USA (along with Denver). I watched it every freaking day when I was in 2nd grade.

Nah, the show he's talking about is Dino-Riders. It is an 80's (88-90) cartoon and they released a toy line to compliment the show. I still have most of the toys and about 10 episodes on video.

I remember that show...well, vaguely. I believe there was also a, probably brief, comic book run.

IIRC, Robotix was along those lines as well. Well, except that the 'dinosaurs' were robots.
