Guest Dmann2000 Posted April 4, 2003 Report Posted April 4, 2003 I'm talking about back in Savage's heel run on the various matches he and Hogan had, Miss Elizabeth would usually plead with Hogan not to hurt Randy and Hogan would always get curt with her. I never liked that (reason #273 why Hogan was a hypocrite of a character). I mean the worst one could say about Elizabeth back then was her poor choice (ethically not technically) in a wrestler. I mean she never cheated for Randy's benefit, like choking the opponent or kicking him outside the ring. She was an angel back then.
Guest MillenniumMan831 Posted April 5, 2003 Report Posted April 5, 2003 Lust Hogan wanted a piece of that even then. He had to show that he was the Manliest Man of them all. BTW, other than the first two matches in MSG, has Savage EVER defeated Hulk Hogan?
Guest bob_barron Posted April 5, 2003 Report Posted April 5, 2003 Savage has never beaten Hogan by pin or submission
cawthon777 Posted April 5, 2003 Report Posted April 5, 2003 Lust Hogan wanted a piece of that even then. LOL Classic Ventura. Nope, Savage has never defeated Hogan via pin or submission - not even in WCW. I don't even believe he gained any type of victory over Hogan in WCW.
cawthon777 Posted April 5, 2003 Report Posted April 5, 2003 BTW, other than the first two matches in MSG, has Savage EVER defeated Hulk Hogan? He gained many count-out victories - especially in 89.
Guest bob_barron Posted April 5, 2003 Report Posted April 5, 2003 Randy Savage has lost his world titles to either Flair or Hogan. There's some trivia for you
Guest Choken One Posted April 5, 2003 Report Posted April 5, 2003 Well Jobbing your belts to those two isn't all that bad... I mean HHH can be the game all he wants but we all know he Jobbed to VINCE MCMAHON! Jeff Jarrett can be the chosen one if wants to but we all know he jobbed it to DAVID ARQUETTE!
Guest treble charged Posted April 5, 2003 Report Posted April 5, 2003 Technically, didn't Arquette pin Bischoff to win the belt in that weirdass tag match. And anyway, DDP was the champ before Arquette.
Guest Choken One Posted April 5, 2003 Report Posted April 5, 2003 No...Jarrett was the champion and Russo (not Bischoff) booked the tag match with the belt...Arquette pinned Russo and thus he became champion... Jarrett won the title at Spring Stampede...and lost it to Arequette and won it back three days later at Slamboree...
Guest treble charged Posted April 5, 2003 Report Posted April 5, 2003 No man, I remember. DDP beat Jarrett for the belt on Nitro that week and then Arquette won it on the following Thunder.
Guest bravesfan Posted April 5, 2003 Report Posted April 5, 2003 Tim's right. DDP had the title going into the match on Thunder. Back then, that title change confused me (well, in ANOTHER way). Considering Page LOST THE DAMN TITLE WHILE NOT EVEN BEING PINNED, he seemed a bit jovial for Arquette's win.
cawthon777 Posted April 5, 2003 Report Posted April 5, 2003 No...Jarrett was the champion and Russo (not Bischoff) booked the tag match with the belt...Arquette pinned Russo and thus he became champion... It was Bischoff. Russo was busy with Flair.
