I'll post the whole she-bang in the movies forum, but basically, Thomas Jane (Dreamcatcher) has signed on to play Frank in the 2004 movie

I've seen people say good and bad things about this.

 

Personally, I know too little about Jane as an actor to make a judgment call.

 

I'll say this, though: if it's good & violent, and dark in tone, I'll be there.

 

I mean, it's not as if they case Freddie Prinze Jr. in the role.

Dolph as the Punisher wasn't too bad. I just wish I could see the un-edited Austrailian Verson.

 

At least we're not talking about the Captain America Movie

I saw Cpatain AMerica once years ago and I wish they would release it on DVD so I could laugh at it again.

Zack, it was the one with Dolph. It was made in the land down under. That movie has the dude who played Yorgi Koskov: it owns.

Ah, OK. I thought there was an "Australian" ripoff or something. I just grabbed the Dolph one for $5.88 DVD at WalMart. The reason I asked is because I know other countries will bootleg characters for movies. I came across one from Turkey that I just NEED to find one day...get this:El Santo (not the real one, a ripoff) and Captain America must do battle with Spider-Man (!) who carries a switchblade and can clone himself, or something. That just sounds so horrendously bad, I need to view it at least once in my life. I thought by "Australian Punisher" that some low budget Aussie company tried there hand at making a Punisher film.
