Guest Redhawk Report post Posted April 5, 2003 Seeing Sable again reminded me of the one and only Nicole Bass, which got to me thinking of other people who were in one of the Big Two for half-a-second before, as Mike Tyson would say, fading into Bolivian. Some of these folks were... Nicole Bass -- If they'd used her right, a Bass-Chyna program might have actually been pretty popular. And I still remember her taking a BRUTAL guitar shot from Jarrett. But when I think of Nicole Bass I think of one line she said to Val Venis (delivered in Nicole's Barry White-ish voice): "I want your slide trombone...in my BRASS SECTION!" Brakkus -- The last time I saw him was in Brawl for All. He had the pre-cursor to HHH's metal shirt, which was the pre-cursor to Scott Steiner's metal hat. Tank Abbott -- I'll admit, I liked him at first. I thought his music was pretty cool and fit his character well, and I liked the "one-punch knockout" gimmick. I remember actually looking forward to his World title match with Sid. Jason Sensation -- What happened to him? I thought he could have been a backstage interviewer or maybe a Heat announcer or something. Loved the Owen Hart and Shawn Michaels spoofs. Shawn Stasiak -- Wasn't sure whether or not to include him, since he was around long enough to make it on SD:SYM, but he's borderline so he's on here. Anyway, after "Meat" he had no shot of ever doing anything. though I though Planet Stasiak could have gone somewhere if they'd given him a weekly platform like they have with John Cena or Matt Hardy, v1.0. If you have any to add, list them here
Guest CoreyLazarus416 Report post Posted April 5, 2003 Tank Abbot as 3Count's manager was great. He was abusive, sadistic, and stupid. He didn't care about the feelings of 3Count or what they wanted to do, he used force to make them do what HE wanted to do. They could have actually made an entire angle out of 3Count that parodied the world of popular music in 2000, but they instead decided to just drop Tank. Guest Galactic Gigolo Report post Posted April 5, 2003 And I still remember her taking a BRUTAL guitar shot from Jarrett. The same guitar shot that she's now (or did it get settled out of court) sueing over, in addition to a lot of other items. I totally loved Tank Abbott in WCW, especially during the 3 Count stage. "We like the Backstreet Boys, N'Sync too, Britney Spears is kind of cute. We watch TRL on MTV, everybody 3 Count 1-2-3. 1---2---3." And then they'd dance around in circles, with Evan sometimes doing the move where he grabs his knee and hops around in circles. That was classic.
Guest WrestlingDeacon Report post Posted April 5, 2003 Damien Demento I remember his look and that he came from the "Inner Reaches of Your Mind" or something like that. Totally wacked out, I loved him. Waylon Mercy Dan Spivey was around forever, but this character only existed for a bit. It was just a really cool concept and you could tell that Spivey was enjoying the character and trying to do something with it. The Islanders Haku is still floating around, but his shortlived tag team was one of the best in the WWF in the mid-80's when they had a very deep division. They were very athletic, yet orthodox and a far cry from their fat, unover Samoan cousins. The Dragon Master He was like a guy out of an old 70's kung fu movie. They should have played that up with him more.

Damien Demento was great; very disturbing for the times. He had this weird costume that went across his shoulders - made him look like a vulture. Saw him beat Tito at a house show about 10 years ago.
