Guest EQ Posted April 6, 2003 Report Posted April 6, 2003 I've never cried as a result of watching a movie, but the closest I ever came was during Superman III (don't ask). I expect people to make jokes about it, but there is a legit reason.

Guest CoreyLazarus416 Posted April 6, 2003 Report Posted April 6, 2003 Terminator 2: Judgment Day The Crow Donnie Darko Although Donnie Darko has more to do with the fact that I watched it right after getting word that my friend Jeff died...but just listening to "Mad World" gets me choked up.
Guest HellSpawn Posted April 6, 2003 Report Posted April 6, 2003 At the end of "A League of their own", when Geena Davis is in the Museum.
Guest spiny norman Posted April 6, 2003 Report Posted April 6, 2003 I cried in Monsters Inc. Actually, I cry in everything really.
Guest Flyboy Posted April 6, 2003 Report Posted April 6, 2003 Rudy The Cure Remember The Titans Lord of the Rings: Fellowship of the Ring Armageddon Jack .... I think that's about it.
Guest Vyce Posted April 6, 2003 Report Posted April 6, 2003 I'm really asking for it with this one, but whatever..... Lord of the Rings: Fellowship of the Ring. It was maybe the 2nd time I watched it. I had the DVD, and it was the scene where Frodo is leaving on the raft, alone, and Samwise runs after him into the stream. He begins to drown, until Frodo pulls him out. That's when Sam gives his "I made a promise, Mr. Frodo!" speech, and I it just hit me hard. This whole concept of friendship, brotherhood and sacrifice - Sam was willing to go with Frodo, his friend, even though he knew it woud likely mean the death of one or both of them. He was willing to make that sacrifice, the ultimate sacrifice, for just one person, his true friend. It's like the scripture in my sig. I didn't really cry, but I had a few creepers in the corners of my eye. Laugh at me if you will. Maybe I was just having my monthlies on that day.
Guest TheZsaszHorsemen Posted April 6, 2003 Report Posted April 6, 2003 Flyboy, you posted Rudy twice. Did you cry a lot during it, or are there two different movies called Rudy?
Guest Flyboy Posted April 6, 2003 Report Posted April 6, 2003 Flyboy, you posted Rudy twice. No, I didn't.
Guest TheZsaszHorsemen Posted April 6, 2003 Report Posted April 6, 2003 Oh, Spicy has the same sig, so I... Whoops.
Guest MaxPower27 Posted April 6, 2003 Report Posted April 6, 2003 Cruel Intentions, when Spoiler (Highlight to Read): Sebastian dies, knowing full well that there are girls that I would gladly get hit by a car for Truth or Consequences, N.M. because Spoiler (Highlight to Read): watching Raymond get killed by Marcus was a good twist. Especially after Raymond had just killed Mafia Guy #3, saving Marcus' life. The "I just want to be alone with Addy" line got me, as that was really all he wanted out of the drug deal, to be with Addy and to have kids. The Green Mile, Glory, and Forrest Gump also.
Guest Kingpk Posted April 6, 2003 Report Posted April 6, 2003 All right, I admit it, I well up a bit at the end of Apollo 13, they just build up the tension and everything perfectly.
