Guest Jobber of the Week Posted April 6, 2003 Report Posted April 6, 2003 Not sure if it's been posted before, but it's highly entertaining stuff. Saddam footage is on 24/7. And in between there are music videos featuring... Saddam shooting guns in the air. The best part, No commercials. mms://live00.xs4all.nl/dsltv03 mms://live01.xs4all.nl/dsltv03 mms://live02.xs4all.nl/dsltv03 ...before the servers get overloaded.' EDIT: Oh yes, copy and paste that into your URL bar, and turn your speakers off or something, it's a VERY loud stream. EDIT 2: You'll also want a strong constitution. They just showed that US POW with a hole in his head again. >_<
Guest B-X Posted April 6, 2003 Report Posted April 6, 2003 I'm missing a decompressor or something...
Rob E Dangerously Posted April 6, 2003 Report Posted April 6, 2003 I'm not getting anything on this. Damn
Guest Jobber of the Week Posted April 6, 2003 Report Posted April 6, 2003 It was running until an hour ago and now it's just the same still image. I think Iraq TV lost their signal again. Was running all night long though. As for compressor, it uses Windows Media. Might even require the new version 9 even.
Rob E Dangerously Posted April 6, 2003 Report Posted April 6, 2003 the video with the people saying with rifles and singing 'Happy Hour' (or whatever) was just very odd. More singing and dancing from Iraq. When will Al-Sahaf show up?
Guest Downhome Posted April 6, 2003 Report Posted April 6, 2003 This is pretty cool. Also, if you wish to watch Al JazeeraI have the link to that life feed, it's pretty cool at times also. This is very interesting for me, as I've been wishing to learn a bit of the Arabic language anyhow.
Guest Kotzenjunge Posted April 6, 2003 Report Posted April 6, 2003 Oh, we gotta spare Iraqi TV now. This is too cool. Arabic music owns.
Guest EricMM Posted April 6, 2003 Report Posted April 6, 2003 Mmm propagandelicious *EDIT* let me put this into context. Why would I want to watch Iraqi TV. I don't watch Springer, because it is stupid. And Iraqi TV is stupider than Springer. I don't watch the Iraqi leaders on CNN and MSNBC talking about how they're routing us and how we're committing atrocities on them, stealing from Iraqis and committing genocide and such. I don't like to watch outragous lies on news networks, and I'm certainly not going to watch the all-Saddam-network.
Guest Jobber of the Week Posted April 7, 2003 Report Posted April 7, 2003 You don't have to. I'm providing an option. It is history though. Iraq TV is pure fiction, but in 50 years a bunch of people will only know what it airs through a few brief newsbursts on CNN or Fox. Being interested in Nazi propaganda probably wasn't a politically hip thing to do in WWII either, but nowadays there's a big historical value in that kind of stuff.
Guest wwF1587 Posted April 7, 2003 Report Posted April 7, 2003 im just getting a black screen... damnit
Guest Jobber of the Week Posted April 7, 2003 Report Posted April 7, 2003 I think they lost signal, either that or maybe they regularly go off-air around this time? Seems that the URLs are still streaming successfully, but Iraq TV called it quits. I'm not hearing any "OMG IRAQ TV EXPLOSION" parties on Fox News Channel like the first time, so I'm guessing this is just regular downtime.
Guest Jobber of the Week Posted April 7, 2003 Report Posted April 7, 2003 You can forget watching anymore. We're invading Downtown Baghdad and took the Ministry of Information.
Guest Kotzenjunge Posted April 7, 2003 Report Posted April 7, 2003 (cries) I was loving those music videos.
Guest Jobber of the Week Posted April 7, 2003 Report Posted April 7, 2003 For serious. All they needed was Kylie Minogue, complete covered in a black outfit wielding in assault rifle
Guest Kotzenjunge Posted April 7, 2003 Report Posted April 7, 2003 Oh dude. That SO needs to happen now. Guess I'll have to settle for her being Cammy in Street Fighter: The Movie. (envisions Kylie as an elite Republican Guard soldier, firing massive guns and kicking ass) Hey, if the Australian army wore black more consistently, I'd say them instead of the Iraqis!
