I thought the whole appeal of Goths were that they existed within their own elitist nihilist subculture and only emerged from their wild orgies and bizarre dance parties to sacrifice virgins to the devil whilst taking methamphetamines and drinking goats blood. Oh, OK. It's actually kinda funny because the "gothic" music I heard wasn't really metal at all. More like literal gothic, with slow tempo, piano and multi-layered instruments, and some whiny guy with a German accent chanting Latin. Weird shit. You wonder why there a gay bashings, because people feel the need to broadcast 24/7 that they are G-A-Y. A guy in my year level who was really nice and friendly to me when I arrived at the school last year, came out this year (Jeez, Maybe he just wanted to fuck me up the ass when he was nice last year?), and really, aside from his boyfriend visiting him at the station and him once saying he and his guy fucked each other up the ass 3 times one weekend, he just has a small rainbow on his bag and thats all he has. No huge "IM GAY AND IM PROUD" sticker. No ridiculous, over the top femininity (sp?). What im trying to say, is that, not everybody cares that you like guys.
