TheOriginalOrangeGoblin Posted April 7, 2003 Report Posted April 7, 2003 YES!! Married With Children "They go together like a horse and carriage"
Guest bravesfan Posted April 7, 2003 Report Posted April 7, 2003 IIRC, TV Guide did a poll on this a few years ago, and the award went to "Hawaii Five-O". I'll put my money on that too, simply for the universal recognition of that theme.
Guest WrestlingDeacon Posted April 7, 2003 Report Posted April 7, 2003 The Married with Children theme is an old Sinatra song he cut like 30 years before the show came out, so that gets recognized for other reasons. I'd go with Cheers, Gilligan's Island and Hawaii Five-0. I mark for the Rockford Files and Sandford and Son themes.
Guest MD2020 Posted April 7, 2003 Report Posted April 7, 2003 Peter Gunn This should win just because it has a whole generation of fans who know it as the "Spy Hunter" theme.
Guest Chuck Woolery Posted April 7, 2003 Report Posted April 7, 2003 Mr. Rogers would be my pick. "It's a beautiful day in the neigh-bor-hood..." C'mon, everybody's heard that one.
Guest nl5xsk1 Posted April 7, 2003 Report Posted April 7, 2003 Top 5 most recognizable (in no order): Gilligan's Island Brady Bunch Monkees Hawaii 5-0 MASH My two favorites: Barney Miller (well, the end theme is the one that I remember, I'm unsure if it's the same one before the show or not) Courship of Eddie's Father
Guest Vern Gagne Posted April 7, 2003 Report Posted April 7, 2003 I mark for the Rockford Files and Sandford and Son themes. You rock! I downloaded the full versions on my computer.
