Guest SP-1 Posted April 7, 2003 Report Posted April 7, 2003 Here in SC, our WB has a morning "News" show, helmed by three of the most retarded people I have ever seen. In fact, one of the "anchors" called the other two RETARDED on the AIR. I kid you not. Though the look on her face when she realized what she said and her subsequent backpedaling amused me. The main anchor woman (I think she's the "main" one) reports scattered bits of news, but can't seem to say more than a few words without flubbing it, though considering the company she's with at the desk I can't say it's completely her fault. The guy that does sports and weather is a spaz. And they had an annoying habit of randomly screaming "ICE CREAM SOCIAL!" over and over again and clapping like seals (or giddy schoolgirls). So is this just something that graces South Carolina airwaves, or is it everywhere? If it's everywhere, check it out if you run across it for the sheer hilarity of what is apparently three half-mature, overgrown children attempting to anchor a morning news and variety show.
Guest SP-1 Posted April 7, 2003 Report Posted April 7, 2003 The bright flashes you see as a side effect from it are something you can adjust to pretty quickly. I don't think even our water can be held responsible for the strangeness that is the ICE CREAM SOCIAL~!
Guest razazteca Posted April 7, 2003 Report Posted April 7, 2003 I am afaird that it is national, that blond is one stupid woman, is'nt she the weather girl from the FOX Football show or the one that got fired from THE VIEW?
Guest SP-1 Posted April 7, 2003 Report Posted April 7, 2003 Not a clue but it wouldn't surprise me. The guy is weird. He's like a male girl.
Guest Kingpk Posted April 7, 2003 Report Posted April 7, 2003 Ah yes, I think you're talking about Good Day Live. It comes out of L.A. but it's syndicated around the country. It is a pretty pathetic program.
Guest SP-1 Posted April 7, 2003 Report Posted April 7, 2003 Aye. That may be it. I might become a regular viewer just to start my day off with some laughs.
