Guest Flyboy Report post Posted April 7, 2003 After watching the National Championship (last year), UCONN against Tennessee (earlier this year), UCONN against Duke (midpoint this year), and UCONN against Texas (tonight).. I have drawn the conclusion that Diana Taurasi is bar none one of the best (women-wise). All Huskie markiness aside, her incredible passing (one of her passes tonight was fucking awesome), and her clutch playing ability puts her above the rest. I don't know if all that will be enough to put out Tennessee in the Championship this year (Conlon, Moore, etc. will have to play a good game), but it will surely help them along. She is a junior, so my best bet is that she will play her final year at UCONN. As for her career after college, her major is communication science, but I think her not going to the WNBA would be TONS of potential wasted so I wouldn't be shocked if she did. Guest bravesfan Report post Posted April 7, 2003 I've only followed two women's NCAA teams ever, and that was the 1995-1996 (I think) UCONN Huskies, and last year's Huskies. Tonight's game was an example of how GREAT Taurasi is, especially in the clutch. She's following in the footsteps of the great UCONN products, that have stepped up to the WNBA. Yes...her "laughing" pictures make her look really bad. It's hard to tell if a female basketball player is attractive when in basketball gear.
