Bret "The Hitman" Hart Possibly making a return to World Wrestling Entertainment-  4/6/03

With all of these former WWE stars returning (Diesel, Sable, Piper), there are reports that none other than Bret "The Hitman" Hart could be the latest in a series of surprise returns. On his official website, Bret spoke on how much he enjoyed Wrestlemania 19, and that he was glad that the WWE's taken the direction of their company back to wrestling. Bret has always been outspoken about not liking the direction the WWE has taken it's programming in recent memory but now that more emphasis is being placed on wrestling and the fact that Bret & Vince appear to have buried the hatchet for the most part, it could lead to a return from Hart even if it's just a one-time only appearance to say goodbye or something.

Bret Has said that he would like to make a one time appearance to give a farewell speech and say good-bye to the fans. We Will bring you more information as we find out.

that's exactly what it is. all the facts in this piece were things i already knew, & the author just put them together with this nebulous claim of "oh, maybe he'll be coming back sometime soon."

Bret has said in the past that he would like to come back to give a thank you/farewell speech - but he said it wouldn't happen because it would be out of place... However, a Hitman DVD is said to be in the works.

Bret has been trying to get pictures and videos from Vince ever since he left. If Vince wants to use that to make him come back and work angles, Bret will have no choice but to do it.

I thought I heard it was a handshake deal, I may be wrong though. If that's the case, a handshake deal with Vince only works in Vince's favor.

Bret wants to be remembered for more than just "the guy who got screwed in Montreal" - he wants his great matches to be shared with wrestling fans. Vince knows that a Hitman DVD would make a shitload of money, and Bret would want it done right, so I don't see Vince having THAT much imput/influence on the process. He would probably want Bret to help mold the History in McMahonian terms, and would probably want Bret himself to show up on the DVD (Bret probably does too, from the sound of it). But in terms of match content - Bret would probably have a good say on it.

Him liking the creative direction doesn't mean he will be back... and he's in no shape to wrestle after that stroke anyway I'm sure. I would still mark out if I'm wrong, though.

Yeah...Enjoying the show is one thing...Likely he was in Mark mode and respected the talent that wrestled...

 

He knows he isn't coming back in THAT shape...He wants people to go "Damn, I wish he would wrestle one last match for us" instead of "Wow...I can't believe how sad he is...He should stay away for good"...

If Bret comes back it will be like the mid 90's again...we got all the key players except for Hall, and a couple of others, but hell we even have Hogan to play the Bob Backlund role lol

1st, I dont think the WWE wil have a 2 disc set, but hopefully they will do one thing right.

 

2nd, about the matches, I think there are one or two threads about that in the tape forum, but if some moderator is ok, I would love to throw my list here.

 

How many matches do you think they include in one DVd ?
