Highlights from Wrestlemania are shown. A voiceover says the main event tonight will be HHH and Jericho vs. Booker and HBK.

 

Victoria pinned Jazz in 4:10 after interference from Steven Richards. Trish tells the ref what happened, and it is decided that there will be a rematch next week with Steven barred from ringside.

 

Chief Morley makes a singles match for tonight. Rob Van Dam vs. Bubba Ray Dudley. If Bubba wins, Morley and Storm are #1 contenders. Bubba looks pissed but leaves the room before he says anything about it.

 

Rob Van Dam pinned Bubba Ray Dudley in 6:36. The ref was distracted by D-Von arguing with Chief Morley and Lance Storm on the floor, and Kane clocks BRD with one of the tag title belts. One Vandaminator later, RVD wins.

 

D-Von is tired of being Morley's bitch. Bubba has gone to the hospital because of a possible concussion suffered in the last match, and none of it would have happened if it wasn't for the Chief. Morley says that the Dudleys are off the hook as long as D-Von can beat Rico in a one on one no DQ match tonight.

 

D-Von Dudley pinned Rico in 7:13 of a no DQ match. The match started with Morley and Storm watching from the press box, smirking like they have something up their sleeve. Sure enough, once D-Von was close to the win, Rosie and Jamal hit the ring and destroy D-Von. Right when Rico is ready to make the pinfall, Rob Van Dam and Kane come down! They dispose of Rosie and Jamal, and head toward Rico. They get the chokeslam/frog splash combo as Morley and Storm go nuts up in the booth. They put D-Von on top for the win. The Dudleys are free. Van Dam & Kane then offer the Dudleys a tag title shot at Backlash. D-Von accepts.

 

Bill Goldberg is in the back getting ready for his debut match with the WWE against Rodney Mack.

 

Bill Goldberg pinned Rodney Mack in 1:03. Usual Goldberg squash, but the crowd hadn't seen it in a while and they all popped huge. Spear/jackhammer finishes. Teddy Long comes in afterwards and gets a military press into a powerslam for his troubles. Goldberg takes the mic and says to remember what just happened, because there will be a repeat of it at Backlash with The Rock.

 

An interview with The Rock. He starts off by addressing Hurricane Helms. Rock says Helms embarrassed him on Raw last month and it's not happening again. Then he moved on to Goldberg, saying that Goldberg may be physically stronger than The Rock, but The Rock will outsmart him and outwrestle him at Backlash, showing that brains are more powerful than brawn.

 

The Rock pinned Hurricane Helms in 8:38. Great back and forth match. Very evenly matched. Goldberg comes out and stares down The Rock from the aisle, and they tease the ending from last months Hurricane vs. Rock match, but Rock kicks out of the schoolboy at two. He finishes with the Rock Bottom and leaves through the crowd rather than to walk past Goldberg.

 

Chris Jericho and Triple-H are in the back watching highlights from their Wrestlemania matches. HHH shows his win over Booker and Jericho shows the sweet chin music he did on HBK. They both agree that tonight will be no different.

 

Booker T & Shawn Michaels beat Triple-H & Chris Jericho in 15:53 when Booker pinned Jericho. Awesome TV match. Michaels plays Ricky Morton to perfection, selling the injured back the whole time. The crowd is hot for this one too. Booker cradles Jericho for the win as Jericho is trying to lock on the Walls. After the match, Booker slingshots himself over the top rope onto HHH and Flair, and Michaels does the same on Jericho. They raise eachother's hand as they are walking up the ramp to a big pop.
