Guest C.H.U.D. Posted April 8, 2003 Report Posted April 8, 2003 Holy patheticness. Of course, I don't have time to watch DVD's, I've become addicted to playing Mame games online.

Guest evenflowDDT Posted April 9, 2003 Report Posted April 9, 2003 Millay at Steepletop might excite American poetry fans. I just can't wait until next week, when my long-awaited Olga triple feature DVD comes in. EDIT: Fangoria also lists the following titles: CHEERLEADER MASSACRE (VHS, DVD special edition): New Concorde FLESH FREAKS (DVD special edition): Sub Rosa/Ventura SANITARIUM (a.k.a. DIAGNOSIS; VHS, DVD): Bedford/MTI 3 FROM THE MIND OF STEPHEN KING (CHILDREN OF THE CORN, CREEPSHOW 2, MAXIMUM OVERDRIVE; DVD box): Anchor Bay TOKYO BABYLON (anime; DVD special edition): Central Park The only one of those I know anything about (aside from the box-set... and just how many times do those greedy bastards want you to dip that anchor?) is Cheerleader Massacre, and all I know about that is that it's directed by Jim Wynorski.
Guest Crucifixio Jones Posted April 9, 2003 Report Posted April 9, 2003 I bought Paid in Full today and just finished watching it. Not as bad as you'd think.
Guest El Satanico Posted April 9, 2003 Report Posted April 9, 2003 I bought Paid in Full today and just finished watching it. Not as bad as you'd think. What is it? The title doesn't ring any bells.

Is that the one where Haley Joel Osmond has to bring the couple together? Because otherwise the title rings a bell but not loud enough for me to remember.

Guest Crucifixio Jones Posted April 9, 2003 Report Posted April 9, 2003 Ha, I'm glad someone reminded me of Pay It Forward because I was struggling to think of why a movie named Paid in Full would conjure images of Haley Joel Osment for someone. Paid in Full is based on the real lives of Harlem drug dealers A.Z., Rich Porter and Alpo as told through A.Z.'s eyes. It stars Wood Harris (HBO's "The Wire") Mekhi Phifer and Cam'ron. Much better than the standard low-budget gangster fare.
