I seriously hope that was a joke No, things are going to be a lot different than under the old regime. That would be "business as usual" if they did it. I think liberals opposing the war simply must want to live under a dictatorship, hm?

Guest Jobber of the Week Report post Posted April 10, 2003 Because one conservative-slanted station is SO terrible compared to a dozen liberal-bias stations. Because if we stop bashing Fox, you're obviously going to stop bashing those stations, too. As for Cawthon's post (and gee, you guys sure have similar looking avatars sometimes :blink ) I don't see what the issue is. Did we forget Hogan / Slaughter where Slaughter was openly supporting Saddam? This isn't NEAR as bad as that was. Actually, it's not like there were any supporters of Saddam or Baath Party loyalists watching the WWF and getting offended. Here, they're generalizing and putting down a way of thinking that, whether or not it's dominant (and that depends on who you ask,) is shared by quite a large number of people and could easily put off quite a few. They don't NEED to lose ratings right now by insulting their viewership. America The Beautiful at the start of WM was a nice and classy touch. This is not. And since certain political ideas seem to dominate in certain regions (such as the Bay Area here is VERY anti-war and far left-wing for the most part), they could actually be killing attendance at future shows in certain regions. All in all, it's just stupid.
