I would love it if they pulled a real life Montreal screwjob on Triple H to pull the belt off of him.

That would be great. Seriously, this "World Title" has no importance. That would give it cred.

 

But then HHH would get sympathy from the marks, and he'd be loved. We don't want that.

He wouldn't get sympathy from anyone if they had to get the belt off of him because he lobbies against every job that he's asked to do.
