Guest BifEverchad Report post Posted April 9, 2003 In an ironic twist, The Superstation TBS announced today that Thursday at 8:00 pm ET, which is the original WCW Thunder timeslot, TBS will be bringing back World Championship Wrestling. "Ready to Rumble" will be making it's network television debut this Thursday. The movie, which was made with the involvement of World Championship Wrestling, is what eventually led to actor David Arquette becoming the WCW World Heavyweight Champion. I found it rather funny that they programmed the movie to be shown in the Thunder time slot. Even more, it is, in a way, the last time we may see a Thursday Night War between WWE vs. WCW, as TBS will go up against UPN's Smackdown. - 1wrestling.com

Guest LatinoHeat Report post Posted April 9, 2003 TBS will be bringing back World Championship Wrestling. This caused me to drop my jaw and subsequently run/fall/trip over the stairs in a frantic rush to tell my brother. "Ready to Rumble" will be making it's network television debut this Thursday. This caused me to swear more in 1 minute than I had done in 2 years.

Guest Downhome Report post Posted April 9, 2003 I love the movie, it's not a work of art, but it's one of those movies that I can watch just about any time just for the hell of it, if you know what I mean. I thought it was a pretty cool representation of Pro. Wrestling also, better than most.

cawthon777 0 Report post Posted April 9, 2003 I think Ready to Rumble is hilarious. Hilarious in that it was supposed to be a big box office smash that would make WCW so popular that people would ask "WWF? What's that?"
