Guest nikowwf Report post Posted April 9, 2003 You don't have to give 2 weeks notice. Slavery is illegal. You can get up and walk out of any job with no notice. Might be legal repercussions, but they cannto make you stay. Except the army. =) If you want to analyze Nash run-ins, how come the heels don't make a plan while they are waiting for him. Hell, they could leave the arena, buy a gun, come back and still have time for a cup of coffee from the time it takes Nash to go from the stage to the ring. niko
Guest SP-1 Report post Posted April 9, 2003 Nash should learn from Kane. I always get a kick out of Kane TRUCKIN' IT DOWN THE RAMP when he chooses to do so. One of the few times I honestly feel like he's about to do something important.
Guest Luke Cage Report post Posted April 9, 2003 Why does the WWF have separate weight divisions if smaller wrestlers are constantly being matched against bigger guys? Why does anyone care about wins or losses when all you have to do to get a title shot/big match is ask for one in an interview? Why don't any wrestlers watch TV to keep track of people who may be planning to attack them?/Why do wrestlers never seem to notice the camera crews recording their backstage activities? Guest AndrewTS Report post Posted April 9, 2003 Why does the WWF have separate weight divisions if smaller wrestlers are constantly being matched against bigger guys? Because, in theory, a Cruiser can win any of the men's titles. So sooner or later he has to face a heavyweight. Why does anyone care about wins or losses when all you have to do to get a title shot/big match is ask for one in an interview? To provide some semblance of being a real sport. Although at least when WCW had the "top ten" and the US champ being #1 contender it was a bit more sensible in that respect. Why don't any wrestlers watch TV to keep track of people who may be planning to attack them? Why do wrestlers never seem to notice the camera crews recording their backstage activities? That's Crash TV . Thank Vince Russo. Although I'd love it if for once some one, like the Hurricane, would give the fourth wall a nice kicking in and use that to his advantage. Because, in theory, a Cruiser can win any of the men's titles. So sooner or later he has to face a heavyweight. So why bother with "separate" divisions? And why would anyone who is outweighed by as much as 100 pounds risk their livelyhood/title contention for a match that means nothing? Why does anyone care about wins or losses when all you have to do to get a title shot/big match is ask for one in an interview? To provide some semblance of being a real sport. Although at least when WCW had the "top ten" and the US champ being #1 contender it was a bit more sensible in that respect. So the WWF is still trying to represent itself as a legit sports entity? Most sports I know of eliminate people/teams who lose most of their matches/games from any kind of championship contention. I'd like to see at least one wrestler with a friend on the production team. Camera Guy: Hey Generic Wrestler #1, this might not be any of my business, but I just taped an interview with Generic Wrestler # 2, and he's planning on attacking you with a baseball bat after the commercial. Generic Wrestler # 1: Thanks. By the way, these were rhetorical, but thanks for the reply. This is fun.
Guest nl5xsk1 Report post Posted April 9, 2003 Once you figure out that people are getting punched in the face 10-20 times a night and showing no damage from it, you stop worrying about little crap like theme music being played for a run in. You run a fine line when complaining about little things like that since you're about an inch awat from becoming the wrestling equivilant of a Trekkie. Complaining about larger running themes like Jericho teaming with Triple H after all this time are far more cringe worthy. The big things are complained about all the time ... it's why I didn't mention them as part of my initial post. We've all run into the ground the lack of continuity in wrestling today. (Jericho and HHH feuded for months ... HBK kicked Booker out of the NWO ... is just both being heels or faces enough to make 2 people trust each other enough to team up?) Thus, it's the small things that bother me now - plus the small things would be much easier to correct.

The last time I can remember a wrestler breaking the fourth wall the last time Rock came back and Angle was a face. Rock was singing and then tried to get Angle the sing but, he didn't want to. The Rock looks right at the camera and asked the folks if they could like the hear Angle sing. Then Angle has this confused look on his face and asked Rock who the hell he is talking to. I thought that was funny.
