Anger Management: To me, very funny movie...

Recommended Posts

Guest Downhome

So I woke up today in an insane mood, and wanted to go watch somthing totally brainless, and I went and saw Anger Management. I thought it would be just a so-so flick, but I was VERY suprised. It ended up being my favorite comedy in years. I laughed out loud in this one, just about more than I ever have when watching any comedy. Like I say some times, this isn't a review, just me sharing what I thought of it real quick. I might post a review later, but for now this is it.

The weird thing, is that Adam Sandler played more of a role closer to that of Punch-Drunk Love, rather than his other cookie-cutter flicks. In this one, Jack actually plays the "insane" role, much more than Adamn. Maybe it was just that I was in a cool funny insane mood today, or maybe this movie was just that damn good, but either way, I suggest it to ANY of you who love great comedy, and just want a good laugh. Hell, this wasn't even "brainless" like I thought it would be. It actually had a pretty good plot to go with the laughs, and that to me, is rather rare.

Sincerely,

...Downhome...

I've been wanting to see this movie for a few months now.

I didn't find it to be brainless looking at all in the trailers. Besides Sandler hasn't been doing the Happy Gilmore type movies lately and seems to be trying to do more traditional style comedies.

It looks good but from what I hear, he's returned to his typical type of movie after doing Punch Drunk Love. I'll check it out eventually, but not right away. For movies like this, it's not wise to go by reviews--just by what you think of that sort of movie or person involved.
