Guest tank_abbott Posted April 12, 2003 Report Posted April 12, 2003 So is this better or worse than what we are getting: Raven pinned Bubba Ray Dudley to win the WWF Hardcore Championship Tommy Dreamer pinned Raven to win the WWF Hardcore Championship Steven Richards pinned Tommy Dreamer to win the WWF Hardcore Championship Bubba Ray Dudley pinned Steven Richards to win the WWF Hardcore Championship The Big Show pinned Shawn Stasiak Jacqueline pinned Crash Holly Eddie Guerrero & William Regal defeated Rob Van Dam & Spike Dudley Trish Stratus pinned Molly Holly Booker T & Goldust defeated The Hardy Boyz "Stone Cold" Steve Austin & Bradshaw defeated The Undertaker, Scott Hall & X-Pac in a Tag-Team Handicap Match
Guest Damn You Helmsley Posted April 12, 2003 Report Posted April 12, 2003 With Bradshaw main eventing, I think the answer is obvious.
Guest That 1996 Guy Posted April 12, 2003 Report Posted April 12, 2003 With Bradshaw main eventing, I think the answer is obvious. Agreed. Raw is A LOT worse these days.
TheFranchise Posted April 12, 2003 Report Posted April 12, 2003 Why were Taker, X Pac and Hall teaming???
Guest bravesfan Posted April 12, 2003 Report Posted April 12, 2003 Why were Taker, X Pac and Hall teaming??? UT was feuding with Steve Austin at this time (over the No. 1 contendership at Backlash, I recall), so Flair made a handicap match which was hinting at the eventual heel turn. X-Pac and Hall were the only remaining healthy workers in the nWo stable, as this was a week(?) before the Big Show's heel turn, and just a few weeks after Nash's bicep injury.
Guest tank_abbott Posted April 12, 2003 Report Posted April 12, 2003 Austin/Taker had No.1 contendership issues... Austin had NWO issues...
TheFranchise Posted April 12, 2003 Report Posted April 12, 2003 Shall i even ask why Bradshaw was always teaming with Austin against the nWo? No.
Guest Downhome Posted April 12, 2003 Report Posted April 12, 2003 They are also both for Texas, so it's a MUST to have them team BAH GAWD!
Guest Kahran Ramsus Posted April 12, 2003 Report Posted April 12, 2003 RAW is about the same as it was then. Smackdown is much improved.
Guest Mulatto Heat Posted April 12, 2003 Report Posted April 12, 2003 Jericho didn't jump to RAW until the end of July. RAW was horrible in the first month or two after the brand extension. That particular RAW was in Texas (hence Jacqueline winning a match and Bradshaw winning the main). Smackdown had more talent (and not just numbers-wise, they had more people capable of contributing positively to a show).
Guest Flyboy Posted April 12, 2003 Report Posted April 12, 2003 Eddie Guerrero & William Regal defeated Rob Van Dam & Spike Dudley Hey! RVD is still in a lowly tag team!
Guest Anglesault Posted April 12, 2003 Report Posted April 12, 2003 So is Eddy. When WAS the last time Los Guerreros won?
Guest eiker_ir Posted April 12, 2003 Report Posted April 12, 2003 seeing that, Raw is a bit better this days...
Guest papacita Posted April 12, 2003 Report Posted April 12, 2003 I remember last year around this time, everyone was saying how much better Raw was compared to Smackdown despite the lopsided rosters. Anyway, I'd say both shows are better now. I've actually enjoyed Raw the past few weeks, which isn't something I could say too much last year.
