Guest Vern Gagne Report post Posted April 13, 2003 First time in 31 years. My reverse psychology worked. I honestly thought the Gophers would win. Congrats to the Gophers. They have a young team so look out.

Guest franchise632 Report post Posted April 15, 2003 Speaking of this topic, I was in Minneapolis on Sunday night. We were going to one of the numerous strip clubs in the area which of course didnt have alcohol because not everyone in out group was of age. A friend and I decided to check out a bar we had passed about a block away. We went into Harvey's and found a big groud of college kids. In the dimly lit bar I was able to make out what looked like an NCAA championship trophy. Come to find out that a majority of the back to back National Championship Hockey team was in this bar. Now Im not a true Gopher fan as I just moved out here and an still tied to the Pac 10 but these guys were so cool they won me over. They even let us get a picture with them and the trophy. What a great bunch of guys. I wish them all the best. Some people wont care but I think its a cool story.
Guest BobBacklundRules Report post Posted April 15, 2003 Anoka High School (my school) wins the state title, the Gophers win national title, so what happens if the Wild win the cup? Hockey Capital of the world for a year? Oops, did I say Wild win the cup, nevermind then.
