Guest CoreyLazarus416 Report post Posted April 13, 2003 The Rules Of Attraction - I fucking LOVE this movie, even more than I ADORE the book. THIS is my new favorite movie...well, right behind Ghostbusters, naturally. The pace was kept quick, and the 1 hour 45 minute length seemed like a matter of short minutes. As Fred Savage, who has a cameo role in the movie as a heroin junkie Sean Bateman (James Van Der Beek) visits to collect his money from, said about half an hour into the movie, "a minute can seem like an hour...an hour seem like a minute." Even the obvious changes for the screen that were made to the characters/story of the novel is forgiven, as it actually helps the story instead of decreasing from it. I give this film no less than ****3/4. Wow...snowflakes for movies now... Ringu - Haven't watched it yet. Can't wait, as I love The Ring. Share this post Link to post Share on other sites
