Guest Ravenbomb Report post Posted March 23, 2002 Correct me if I'm wrong, but didn't sonic used to be Sega's main game character, like Mario is/was to Nintendo??? What happened?
Guest Bruin Report post Posted March 23, 2002 Sega is now a third party developer, kudos for them. Even if they aren't making consoles anymore, they can still continue to make games. Not too many companies can go from one of the big consoles, to a third party game developer and continue being a success. Though I must admit, seeing Sonic on anything other than a Sega console is just plain queer.

Guest The Man in Blak Report post Posted March 29, 2002 Face it, Sonic is now Mario's bitch. Yeah, and it's damn sad too, since Sonic basically broke open the field with ultra-fast platforming gameplay that pretty much left every Mario game in its dust. Guest Report post Posted March 29, 2002 Yes, it is odd to see Sonic dashing across the screen on a Nintendo console, but Vince McMahon owns WCW, so the last couple of years have been rife with this kind of thing. As an avid DC fan (it's still my main console at the moment) I was saddened by Sega's abandoment of the system, but it wasn't as if anyone who bought the cinabon machine didn't know when they were getting in to. Especially with the hype the PS2 got by word of mouth. At least Sega's still making games, and great ones at that. Virtua Fighter 4, anyone?
