Guest the pinjockey Report post Posted April 18, 2003 If the person's time runs out can the next person who clicks on the thread just make the pick?
Bored 0 Report post Posted April 18, 2003 I say just have Arizona pick Carson Palmer because it makes sense since they do have a veteran qb in Jeff Blake for him to play behind his first year. They are in desperate need of wideout help but they could always end up possibly drafting Roy Williams next year and Rogers and Johnson are already gone. Guest Kahran Ramsus Report post Posted April 18, 2003 I say if he doesn't show up within the time, we let bravesfan pick since he's running the thing.
Guest the pinjockey Report post Posted April 18, 2003 That is what I was thinking, just give him Palmer.
Guest bps "The Truth" 21 Report post Posted April 18, 2003 Arizona actually likes their young backup for reasons unknown to the world.
Guest the pinjockey Report post Posted April 18, 2003 There really isnt much else for them with this pick. They could use a DE, QB, WR, LB but at this pick the only one that would not be a reach would be Palmer. Â In reality I would trade the pick but I want this thing to get a move on. Guest bps "The Truth" 21 Report post Posted April 18, 2003 In real life they'd better either move up to get one of the top two receivers or move the hell down.
Guest the pinjockey Report post Posted April 18, 2003 If they moved up Jeff Blake throwing to Andre Johnson (a track record holder) could be a dangerous combination that could steal a couple games this year I think.
Guest bps "The Truth" 21 Report post Posted April 18, 2003 Well...I say let someone pick for him then.

Guest Vern Gagne Report post Posted April 18, 2003 I'll take Culpepper for the no.9 pick (Carolina) You got yourself a QB thepinjockey! Â Bravesfan can we make trades?
Guest the pinjockey Report post Posted April 18, 2003 So were you planning on taking a QB with the 7 if no one bit on the deal?
Guest Vern Gagne Report post Posted April 18, 2003 I wouldn't of drafted a QB if I couldn't mock trade Culpepper. Â With the 7th pick in TSM Mock Draft the Minnesota Vikings select Carson Palmer, QB USC.
Guest bravesfan Report post Posted April 18, 2003 Bravesfan can we make trades? Â Eh, it'll make for interesting talk. Â Carolina receives: Daunte Culpepper, QB Â Minnesota receives: 9th selection in 2003 TSM Mock Draft.
Guest Kahran Ramsus Report post Posted April 18, 2003 Minnesota just made a killing in this draft.
Guest Vern Gagne Report post Posted April 18, 2003 I have a feeling that Palmer won't be around at pick #7. Either way it's all in fun.  Flyboy. A trade proposal  #10. for #17. and #18. or #17. and a player on the Saints. Say Charles Grant or Darren Howard.
Guest Kahran Ramsus Report post Posted April 18, 2003 Vern, I might be willing to deal with you depending on what the Jaguars do with their pick.
Guest the pinjockey Report post Posted April 19, 2003 Chris Berman: We now go to Carolina where we have the pinjockey on conference call. So you just completed the first deal of this 2003 draft. Could you give us a little insight into why you decided this was the deal you needed to make. Â the pinjockey: Well Boomer, when this deal came along the war room looked at the players we would consider at the 9. Palmer looks good but we did not think he would make it past Jacksonville. And while we could use an upgrade at OT and CB we saw this opportunity to grab a big QB who can be with us for the next 10 years. Â Berman: Are you worried at all about his TD/INT ratio last year? Â the pinjockey: We understand that he had an off year last year, but he also scored 10 TDs on the ground which will be a big plus. We also understand that the people around him were not always contributing the 100% effort he was. Â Berman: Where will you be looking to upgrade in your later picks? Â the pinjockey: Well now that we have addressed our QB situation we still need to grab 1 or 2 CBs, 1 or 2 OTs, and at least one WR. Â Berman: Thank you for your time, I am sure we will talk to you again this round
Guest AlwaysPissedOff Report post Posted April 19, 2003 Due to a major headache, and the fact that the fucking page didn't load when I tried to post it a minute ago, I'll make this short. Â With the 8th selection in the TSM NFL Mock Draft, the Jacksonville Jaguars select CB Marcus Trufant.
Guest Kahran Ramsus Report post Posted April 19, 2003 Okay, I'm backing down. Â The way things are going it seems like I should be able to get a player I want at 29. Â However, I may re-consider if I get a good offer.
