Guest RenegadeX28 Posted April 16, 2003 Report Posted April 16, 2003 Well, maybe this should belong in my previous post, but what the heck. I posted that I had cookie problems. Well, someone told me that if I use the multiple users feature in WindowsME, it will separate my cookies in separate folders, away from my sister's cookies, which won't let me log into the forums I go to. Does anyone know how to use it? Also, will it fix the problem with the cookies I just mentioned?
Guest DrTom Posted April 16, 2003 Report Posted April 16, 2003 Wow, ME. Hmm, there should be a "Users and Passwords" icon (or something very similar) under Control Panel. From there, you can create accounts and setup passwords. I honestly haven't used ME in so long that I don't remember if it creates a separate profile (2000, which it's modeled on, does) for each user, which is what you're looking for it to do.
Guest MrRant Posted April 16, 2003 Report Posted April 16, 2003 Check My Network Places and set yourself for Network Logon or Family Logon so you get a logon prompt.
Guest RenegadeX28 Posted April 20, 2003 Report Posted April 20, 2003 Thanks for the help. The help you guys gave me got me to properly set up the accounts, and now, the cookie problems have stopped.
