Cleveland Cavaliers back in the wine and gold

The Cavaliers (that's right, the CAVALIERS... no more 'Cavs'... what the hell is a Cav anyway?) unveiled the new logo, uniforms and court design for next year.

The team is primarily back to the wine and gold (albeit an updated version) color scheme, with blue accents.

 

Some might think the new threads are a little plain, but considering some of the other disasters teams are taking the court/field/ice with, I'd say these are pretty decent.

The Unis are decent, and there not gimmicky, so I'm not going to complain. The main logo looks like the Clippers, and the secondary ones look like the Tampa Bay Bucs, so I'm not a fan of those. I never saw anything that bad about there current unis, so it seems pretty pointless.

I like the color scheme and I think it's better than the generic looking "net" logo they had.

It's like a mixture between the Atlanta Hawks and Tampa Bay Bucs uniforms/logos. I actually liked the old blue-and-orange Cavs unis; the ones from the Mark Price/Brad Daugherty days. And how funny would it have been if their display jersey (the ABCDEFG #46 one) said "James, #23"?

Well these are the best uniforms they've had in twenty years at least. The blue and orange ones in the 80's- early 90's were horrible. Then they went to the light blue crap in mid 90's which also sucked.

 

 

I like the colors and the court logo, but they needed more work on the jerseys. The jerseys look alot like college jerseys. They need to clean up the lettering or something.

 

It could just be bad lighting, but the red looks too light. Hopefully it's just bad lighting or they needed a slightly darker red.
