Guest Anglesault Posted April 17, 2003 Report Posted April 17, 2003 The age old question: Can money really buy happiness? Is it all you really need in life? or are you someone who would exchange all the money in the world for friendships and relationships? Call me shallow or materialistic or what have you, but in a close battle, money certainly wins out. After all, money can buy friends. Honestly though, it's a tough decission.
Guest JHawk Posted April 17, 2003 Report Posted April 17, 2003 Money can buy friends, but friends can give you money. Call it a draw.
Guest caboose Posted April 17, 2003 Report Posted April 17, 2003 If given the choice of having lots of money and no friends or, having no money and lots of friends, I would have to say your a jackass. But I'd rather have lots of friends.
Guest Ravenbomb Posted April 17, 2003 Report Posted April 17, 2003 this doesn't make any sense. do I get all the money I want, but have to give up the friends I have and can't make friends with them again? If I pick friends, will I never have money, or can I make money again? If I can make money again, couldn't I conceivably make friends again? Couldn't I just stop being friends with my friends before I make the decision, then I can be friends with them again later? If I can't make any money ever if I pick friends, then I pick money. You can't live on friendship.
Guest Anglesault Posted April 17, 2003 Report Posted April 17, 2003 Drop all your current friends and get unlimited funds. Use it however you wish. Have money to live on, but nothing more, and all the friends in thr world.
Guest MaxPower27 Posted April 17, 2003 Report Posted April 17, 2003 I like my friends, so I pick the 'have $$$ to live on, but keep my friends.' option.
Guest T®ITEC Posted April 17, 2003 Report Posted April 17, 2003 Money, 'cause all my friends are filthy bastards. Easy choice, G. Now I want my cash.
Guest WukenBloodstar Posted April 17, 2003 Report Posted April 17, 2003 Screw having friends..money money and more money..being greedy can't be so bad..can it?
Guest Space_Cowboy Posted April 17, 2003 Report Posted April 17, 2003 I'd probably go with the money.
Guest Ravenbomb Posted April 17, 2003 Report Posted April 17, 2003 but I could make friends after I get unlimited funds? Easy, the money. I can make friends with them again later.
Guest Vitamin X Posted April 17, 2003 Report Posted April 17, 2003 I personally believe that money is more important, basically because it's kind of what you can show for the hard work you've done to progress or politic in society, what have you compared to friends which any two people being put in the right place at the right time can be made.
Guest MarvinisaLunatic Posted April 18, 2003 Report Posted April 18, 2003 I suppose if you were rich you'd have psuedo-friends who are only your friends because you have money, so it wouldn't be like you would be rich but alone. So Id take the money.
Guest kkktookmybabyaway Posted April 18, 2003 Report Posted April 18, 2003 Money > Friends. Unless your friends happen to be rich and generous...
