From what I've heard, Season 2 of South Park will be yet another bareboned box set with the only extra being the Terrence and Phillip special. Warner Bros. wanted to edit/censor the commentaries that Matt and Trey recorded for the 1st Season DVD set, so Matt and Trey basically told them to "fuck off", and the commentaries were later released on seperate CD's that had to be mailed-away for (uncensored) Share this post Link to post Share on other sites

I know it's all about the actual show, but sometimes you can't ignore the lack of extras for a show you'd figure would have a ton. Barebone TV sets are only acceptable for older shows, where there's a lack of footage or possibilities for extras. We're living in an age now where producers of shows should be looking at a lot of stuff as possible DVD extras. I didn't pick up Season 1 (wanted to during Wal-Mart's recent online pricing fiasco, but missed out) and unless I find a deal on this one, I don't see myself picking up this set either.
