Guest Fubar420 Report post Posted April 19, 2003 attn : Joshua Oravetz aka wrestlingtapesite.cjb.com - Indianna , Pa This guy is a scammer !!!!!!!!! Buyers and Sellers Beware !!! Joshua purchased 46 clearence tapes from my much publicized clearence sale . His payment was made through paypal . He was made aware how busy a sale like that makes one person and he was fully aware of how long it would take me to get it all together . Considering I have over 2,000 wrestling tapes and had over 100 orders . Common sense tells ya it might be a little while before mailing is done . Anyways I mailed Media mail with delivery confirmation as ALWAYS . His tracking #'s are 0301 0120 0008 3743 9966 & 0301 0120 0008 3743 9973 . These #'s and dirrections on how to track were emailed to him upon my mailing . Today I awake to find that my paypal account has been backcharged $150.00 . Leaving me with -17.71 , not the $132 I had before I went to bed . So basically the guy is buying tapes , and when he recieves confirmation that they have been sent , Goes back to paypal and files a complaint in an attempt to get items he purchased for free . If anyone has any suggestions on what I can do to get my money back from paypal in a much sooner time then the 2-3 weeks I am sure it will take plmk . In meantime everyone be leary and aware that this guy is a rippoff artist wannabe . Thank you for your time , Daniel
Guest RedJed Report post Posted April 19, 2003 Whoa............whoa......thats just plain fucked up. That god you have confirmation numbers of the packages, or else it may be tough to get your money back. I think its absurd that Paypal immediately pulls back his funds from the purchase without evidence and whatnot. That is something that company needs to look into, scams from the other end. All I could recommend is somehow finding others he's done trades with perhaps (and been screwed over by). Any sort of references of his behavior basically. If he pulled that on you, its obvious there has to be more people he's done that too. I'm sure you are already talking to Paypal about this too, and as long as you have the confirmation number receipts with the stamp from the post office on it, I think you're good to go. Guest theoldxpac Report post Posted April 19, 2003 well i now this isnt as bad but i sent 3 tapes to some guy and never got the money from him, then he hacked into my tape email, changed the password, and started trying 2 tell every1 of my contacts that they had to send the money for the tapes to a new address (his address!) luckerliy the 1st person he spoke 2 was my mate who does the trades with me and my mate managed to work out it wasnt me and got rid of him. But i set up a new account just 2 make sure.
Guest Corey291 Report post Posted April 20, 2003 Usually, paypal contacts youb to let you know of the complaint. You need to contact paypal and prove to them with the confirmation number and any other information that is relevant to showing them that the guy did indeed receive his tapes, so you can get your money again. -Corey
