Guest Crazy Bread Report post Posted April 19, 2003 For the first time in a few years, ive been enjoying Fox's Sunday night line-up, primarily because of Oliver Beene, a show that i dont believe enough people are watching. King of the Hill, the Simpson, and especially Malcolm have been enthralling as always this season but the new show Oliver Beene has caught my eye enough to where its one of my favorite shows. Its somewhat like Malcolm meets The Wonder Years and is funny as hell. On the other hand, Fox's other midseason "comedy" The Pitts is one of the worst shows I have EVER seen. The laugh track is used more times than in That 80's Show. Also, its just an awful show. Period. Anyone else enjoying Sunday nights on Fox anymore this season? Guest El Satanico Report post Posted April 20, 2003 I like Oliver Beane eventhough it is an obvious rip off of The Wonder Years. I also like The Pitts, which makes sense given my history of liking cheesy tv shows. There's just a great cheesy vibe to The Pitts that I love. The show is literally a cartoon and I love that about it. Both shows remind me of the bizarre early Fox comedies like Herman's Head from back when the network was still in the infant stages. I find dsyfunctional families hilarious. The Pitts are not very good, so I wish they would bring back Andy Richter. But I rather watch this lineup than the other networks.
