Guest Kotzenjunge Report post Posted May 1, 2003 Because it's usually on someone who is oblivious to any kind of flaming or is so dead set in their thoughts that no degree of name-calling and insults will change them. Also, thinking they have some kind of devastating effect and adding "of Doom" really oversells them. Of course, this is all coming from someone who isn't a big fan of flaming in any form. Guest SP-1 Report post Posted May 1, 2003 At least scientology can be proven. I always believe in things that I can have proof of existence. Science has evidence and alot of truths. But there's tons of theory in there too. Christianity has evidence as well. Nothing is absolutely proven in that realm.
