Guest areacode212 Report post Posted February 7, 2002 While I was at the comic store this evening, I noticed a Buffy the Vampire Slayer: Tales of the Slayer TPB, featuring artists like Tim Sale and P. Craig Russell. At $14.95, it was a bit too pricey to pick up today, but I was wondering, is the Buffy series in general entertaining and well-written? Or is it worthless and lame attempt at cashing in on a hit series? It seems to attract quality artists. I'm kind of a new Buffy fan and I won't be buying the title for the time being--until I catch up with the series--but if it's any good, I might be interested in picking up TPBs or runs of this on eBay. Guest raptor Report post Posted February 20, 2002 I like the comics, but they aren't as good as the TV series. They're really hit or miss storywise. TPBs might be a good idea, just so you won't blow a lot of money, and to see if you like the general feel of the comics.
