Thinking about it, Tori Amos losing to Shania Twain is much worse, that's awful. I nominated Lucinda Williams myself but I never expected her to beat Diana Ross. Sure, The Supremes sang some classic songs but as a great individual songwriter Williams wins my biased vote. If she loses to Sheryl Crow (which I figure she will), I have no problem with that as I really dig Crow. One name we forgot was Bonnie Raitt.
