Guest DragonflyKid Report post Posted April 21, 2003 1. How fucking hard would it have been to type in "AJPW NJPW 4/14/01" into a search engine? 2. Ask the person you got the tape from. 3. Why would you purchase a tape without knowing the matchlistings? 4. Capitalize, it's simple and doesn't further illustrate the fact one is lazy.
Guest Memphis Report post Posted April 21, 2003 What a pleasant way to greet a perfectly honest request. I don't believe he asked you to question him nor mark his english competency, just to take a few seconds of your time to help another human being out. Ignore him ^ usmale, I'm sure someone who knows the match list will reply soon. M
Guest Black Tiger Report post Posted April 21, 2003 I'm not sure if AJPW ever did a commercial releaes of the full show. But I know the following matches were on 4/14/01 Tenzan/Kojima vs Hines/Williams Kawada vs Mutoh
Guest PlatypusFool Report post Posted April 21, 2003 This is what the 'ask questions here' thread is for, usmale should have used that if he couldn't be bothered to take a few seconds of his own time to find the match list. Just because i'm feeling kind though; AJPW "CHAMPION CARNIVAL ONE NIGHT SPECIAL", 4/14/01 (GAORA TV) Tokyo Nippon Budokan 15,800 Fans (Sell Out) 1. Yuto Aijima vs. Kyoshiro Suizenji 2. Shigeo Okumura vs. Gran Naniwa 3. Mike Barton & Jim Steele vs. Jinsei Shinzaki & Nobutaka Araya 4. Masanobu Fuchi & Yoshiaki Fujiwara vs. Masahito Kakihara & Mitsuya Nagai 5. Hiroyoshi Tenzan & Satoshi Kojima vs. Steve Williams & George Hines 6. AJPW World Tag Team Title: Taiyo Kea & Johnny Smith © vs. Genichiro Tenryu & Kim Duk 7. Keiji Muto vs. Toshiaki Kawada Use the pinned threads next time.

How fucking hard would it have been to ignore the post Mr Jubicki Jr? Your post was as ignorant, uneccessary and dumb as the other guy's question was and just as tiresomely predictable. Guest DragonflyKid Report post Posted April 21, 2003 We've been over this countless times, those who are lazy shouldn't be helped. People should learn to help themselves when the answers they seek are just a few clicks away. Those like you Anorak who never contribute themselves but just like to come in and whine are also tiresomely predictable. I suggested the use of a search engine among other things, I was helpful, I should be commended, I did more for him than you did in your crybaby post. Sometimes one must be cruel to be kind. Guest Black Tiger Report post Posted April 21, 2003 DragonFlyKid, I'm not singling you out or anything, your post is just the most recent example of the point I want to make. You get all pissed off because asking the questions that are a few clicks away add nothing to the f0lder, which it does not. BUT being rude and "cruel to be kind" does nothing to add to the folder itself. So your just as guilty as usmale for not making a worthwile contribution. PlatypusFool obviously had the solution, point out the pinned thread. (which you could have done in you quest to be "cruel to be kind")
Guest DragonflyKid Report post Posted April 21, 2003 I WAS helpful, I told him how he could go about finding the matchlists, I contributed, laziness should be confronted with "rudeness". Helping the lazy will just promote more laziness and questions that could easily be answered with a little research. One of the things I found fun about puroresu was doing that research, if I was watching a match and wanted some background I'd search out that background, if I couldn't find the answer then I would take it to a message board. If I wanted to know what tapes to get to spend my money wisely I'd do research into what tapes are worth getting, after I knew what I like I'd go to a message board and inquire about other recommendations regarding my taste. There is alot of info out there, one could learn a great deal from just going to the sites linked in the pinned thread. If people aren't going to be serious about shit then they shouldn't be treated seriously.
Guest Anorak Report post Posted April 21, 2003 I noticed your earlier reply featured no denial of being tiresomely predictable then? I commend you for being so pleasantly unpredictable my friend. I hope you listened to BT's lecture 'kid', consider your wrists well and truly slapped me lad.
Guest RickyChosyu Report post Posted April 22, 2003 This would be another example of the a "question that could have answered by using the pinned thread and saved everyone the bother," which we've been over counltess times. Like Platypusfool said, click the pinned thread next time. Anorak, I'm not sure what your point is about DFK's response being predictable. It's predictable only because we've been hammering home this point since the pinned threads were created (how long has it been?) and by now we expect most people to get the point. Again, not unreasonable, by any measure. I also share Dragon Fly Kid's sentiments about contributing to the board. If you're going to come on here complaining about negativity, you might as well contribute something besides unwarranted criticism.
