Guest TheDames7 Posted March 23, 2002 Report Posted March 23, 2002 This isn't a parody post this is a real question. Everyone that I speak to assume that Wrestlemania 20 will be held at Madison Square Garden, because 1 & 10 were and I guess they are going for tradition. I'd like that to be true, since I live in NYC and I didn't get to go to WM X (#### YOU MOM!). However, with the WWF holding WM in big dome stadiums, do you guys think Vince will honor tradition....or go for the attendance records and cash? Dames
Guest cobainwasmurdered Posted March 23, 2002 Report Posted March 23, 2002 vince honor tradition? LOL
Guest Tony149 Posted March 23, 2002 Report Posted March 23, 2002 I think Vince will hold WM at MSG. MSG is pretty much the home of the WWF.
Guest Posted March 23, 2002 Report Posted March 23, 2002 I think Rob Van Dam is going to be in the main event and win the title from Edge. Austin and Taker will be near retirement too. I think the second dark age will be going on then.
Guest bps "The Truth" 21 Posted March 23, 2002 Report Posted March 23, 2002 I can see him going to MSG...unless he'll wait until 25...
Guest Sandman9000 Posted March 25, 2002 Report Posted March 25, 2002 Vince pretty much has a guaranteed sellout everytime they run a show at MSG, which is why it seems like the WWFe is there about once a month. For WM's, the WWFe won't go to a place with less than 50K seats.
Guest goodhelmet Posted March 25, 2002 Report Posted March 25, 2002 I agree with that assesssment. Why would the WWF settle for an arena with 18-20 thousand seats when they can fill a dome of 60,000 plus easily! During WM10, the WWF wasn't doing great business and probably couldn't have filled out half of a dome. Things have changed so I doubt the Garden will ever get another Mania
Guest Karnage Posted March 25, 2002 Report Posted March 25, 2002 By then, the WWF should hold Wrestlemania at MSG, its not like they are gonna fill arenas that hold 60,000 in the year 2004 by the looks of the current WWF product now.
Guest Some Guy Posted March 25, 2002 Report Posted March 25, 2002 I think Vince will hold it at MSG, by then Mania will probablt cost $50 on PPV and he could charge crazy high prices for the seats. Mania 23 will be the return to the SilverDome. Potentially by 20 Hogan will be gone, Rock will have gotten his win back from Austin at 19, and Austin will be very close to retirenment and so will Taker. At 20 Austin could pass the Torch to RVD and Taker to Angle (I already know the match will suck, but it would give Angle a huge boost to retire Taker and end his streak). If Vince plays his cards right he could make huge stars to replace his old ones at 20.
Guest areacode212 Posted March 25, 2002 Report Posted March 25, 2002 I think it will be held at MSG too, just for tradition's sake. I also live in NYC, and also didn't go to WrestleMania 10, because this was during a point in time when I wasn't really paying attention to wrestling. I regretted it later in the year, in the summer, when I started watching again, then rented the tape and saw the Awesome Two Matches.
Guest Posted March 25, 2002 Report Posted March 25, 2002 I think it would make more sense if WM 19 was held at MSG, since 1 & 10 were there.. but then again, I doubt tradition will mean much at WrestleMania "xx". I believe that WrestleMania will be where Kurt Angle wins his first Mania main event over Rock. I also believe that Hogan will still be around, and will job to new wrestling icon, Rob Van Dam.. only to put himself over. Hogan never dies. I also believe that Hogan will have infiltrated many of his cronies by this time... as Ed Leslie, known as "The Asskisser", a gay character, pins "Horny" Horace Hogan, whose character would be of a fat, white pimp that hates gay guys... to win the IC Title. Hilarity ensues. This would be the ONLY way to devalue to title anymore... so Vince must allow it.
Guest Anglesault Posted March 25, 2002 Report Posted March 25, 2002 I believe that WrestleMania will be where Kurt Angle wins his first Mania main event over Rock. I believe that Kurt Angle will job the European Title to Crash Holly clean in the opener.
Guest The Masked Yodeler Posted March 25, 2002 Report Posted March 25, 2002 HHH will beat some young up-and-coming superstar, and Stephanie will inject herself repeatedly into the match.
Guest Mystery Eskimo Posted March 25, 2002 Report Posted March 25, 2002 Or, Kurt will be super-over and HHH will beat him in an attempt to steal his heat.
Guest MARTYEWR Posted March 25, 2002 Report Posted March 25, 2002 Wrestlemania 20: Roddy Piper returns from retirement!
Guest Choken One Posted March 25, 2002 Report Posted March 25, 2002 WMXX will no questionably go down in MSG, as for the Main Event? Rob Van Dam could very well get the World Title #1 there or they'll go with an Mega-Match with the possibilty of Austin retiring or something like that.
