About the "Intense WarZone Concept"

Mad props to Dames for a killer promo last night which set up the latest innovation in OaOasT Storytelling. The madness of the OaOasT thread now invades your computer screen every monday night on IntenseZone

But how does this change things you ask? We I am here to talk about the concept and what it means and what we hope to see out of it.

All characters have been handed carte blanche to treat the backstage area throughout iZ as a free-for-all. Anything happening backstage will be recognized

The following are rules to help guide

1) Talent are free to form alliances

eg. JOB SQUAD and K-Ness watch out for each other backstage.

2) It is encouraged that alliances are formed between similarly aligned characters. Heels should not be aligned with faces and vice versa. Please limit these alliances to no more than 4 characters. Characters may only be in 1 alliance at a time

3) Alliances can make certain areas in the backstage safe havens. This is mainly for promo purposes. The Trinity would always be interviewed in the Commissioner's office, whereas the Andrew Hyland would always have a skybox rented out for his pad.

*those are just examples...

3) Carte-blanche extends to all hand-to-hand fighting and blunt object use. Sharp Metal Pointy things and Guns and the like are still banned. The purpose is to wear down opponents, not kill em.

4) When WarZone promos are received, we'll put them in logical order...

eg. K-Ness attacks Eskimo backstage before the match, then Jingus Returns the favor.

5) Alliances help you. If Stephen Joseph writes a beatdown segment on Zack Malibu, but Eskimo and Zack Malibu (who are aligned) both write beatdown segments on Stephen Joseph ... SJ's segment disappears and the Eskimo Zack segment airs

This should encourage collaboration and involvement in the show. Those who are active get rewarded, so to speak

6) We ask that any happenings backstage be related to storylines, or at least kept to face heel lines. An enraged face can crash into Dames's office and demand a match with threatening, but a calm happy face shouldnt.

7) What happens if two people write segments on each other? We will most likely use both, but it will be up to the producer to edit the segments so that they make some sense

I hope this gives an idea of what we're looking for...Basically it is an attempt to open up the roster so that anyone can feud with anyone regardless of any "card position" held. Backstage, power is all that matters, and power is in the numbers and jumpings.

Good luck!
