I'm with you, but I really wish Hurricane would just slowly melt back into just Shane Helms. I think he's over enough, and has enough of talent, charisma, and backing now to be able to be taken seriously by the fans. Hurricane/Nowinski would be fine by me.

Better yet, go back to "Sugar" Shane Helms and use his gumbo accent for the better: imitating Muhammed Ali!

Hurricane is over, VERY marketable, and extremely funny. It's not an ME character, but let's be honest with ourselves; Helms is too small for the ME's anyway. Plus when Shane Helms says that playing the Hurricane is the most fun he's ever had with a character I'd say just let the man do what he loves. The fans love it too.

Guest Just call me Dan Posted April 22, 2003 Report Posted April 22, 2003 Trust me, if they'll push a main event feud with Cena as a rapper against Brock, they won't have any problem pushing the Hurricane character. He could scale it down a bit, still using the same type of uniform, minus the cape and shirt and just use Hurricane as a nickname like The Hitman. He could use his same mannerisms to come off as cocky and there you have it.

Lets see if Crips/HBK/Nash/Goldy can draw the next couple weeks.. WITHOUT the rock
