Guest Galactic Gigolo Report post Posted April 23, 2003 Has flashbacks. * Barbarian randomly squashing jobbers every two months or so to remind us that he was still employed. * * Horace Boulder: Flock member with the STOP sign. * * Hak. The best line ever was said by someone on DDT Digest I believe. "I thought that was Meltzer's gimmick." * * Scotty Riggs. From the time he was in the Flock to them giving him the pretty boy gimmick, I don't think he ever won a match. Even against jobbers. He was even the first guy to lose to Norman Smiley (right after the Big Wiggle got over), of course though, after getting his ass handed to him by Meng in a feud with the Flock that never went anywhere. * * Al Greene = The Dog. Just to big back some (bad) memories for you. * * Young guys main even... Wait, it's Thunder. * * I remember Booker/Awesome and Kidman/Horace being pretty good. Horace actually had some energy to him, and looked in shape. On the other hand, everything else sucked that night. * * And it was capped off by David Arquette winning the World Title. While I didn't find it nearly as offensive as some did, it was still fucking stupid. * Keep these coming.

Bored 0 Report post Posted April 23, 2003 Buff Bagwell & Scott Norton def. Lex Luger & Rick Steiner Wasn't this the debut of Rick Steiner's Bulldog of Death? After some digging, yup that was the very match. Found this on Google: As said on Thunder, Buff Bagwell sustained a major neck injury. Apparently, the injury was caused whenever Bagwell was going through Rick Steiner's Bulldog. His neck/head landed on Rick Steiner's body, causing his veterbrate to push backward. Buff Bagwell was barely able to make a pin on Rick Steiner, with both shoulders on the mat and his arm slightly on Steiner's body. The pin led to some controversy at the end on who the winner was. As WCW came back from a commercial break, Buff Bagwell was lying in the ring. Bagwell couldn't move his arms or legs, and could only talk. Vincent and Scott Norton were by his side the entire time, along with many other wrestlers concerned in the back. Medical officials arrived, with doctors continuosly taking his blood pressue, and keeping track of his pulse. A stretcher was brought down to move out Bagwell, but doctors later discovered Bagwell had a cervical neck injury, and couldn't be moved until an ambulance arrived. Fans were asked to keep quiet so medical officials could communicate with one another. Ambulance officials arrived, and slowly took Bagwell out of the ring on their own stretcher, and being immobilized. WCW later announced Bagwell had been able to regain feeling in his arms and legs, and doctors said it looked like he will be fine. As of now, Bagwell is resting at a local Colombia, South Carolina hospital. There is no official word on his status, or how long he will be out of action.
