Guest evenflowDDT Report post Posted April 23, 2003 S.F. International Film Festival synopsis Anyone else know anything/heard of this movie? Or better, anyone seen it? I'd love to, but wouldn't be able to make it to S.F. in time for the last showing tonight. Although I have to say, any film description that name-checks Rabid and I Drink Your Blood alongside standard name-checkers like Last House on the Left and The Hills Have Eyes AND features only practical special effects is more than OK by me. And director/producer Eli Roth has not only worked with David Lynch, he's also provided commentary for at least one Troma DVD. I'm intrigued. Share this post Link to post Share on other sites
Guest Lethargic Report post Posted April 23, 2003 I've heard it's supposed to be really good but haven't seen it myself. From what I've read, this movie sounds like the House of 1000 Corpses we THOUGHT we'd get. A good old school horror movie that's more tribute and less rip off. I was just reading a Premiere magazine feature about the 10 best upcoming horror movies for 2003 and it was one of them. I figure if they're featuring it alongside other theater movies such as Dreamcatcher, Willard, 1000 Corpses, Freddy vs Jason, Jeepers Creepers 2, THe Exorcist prequel, Cursed, Underworld and the TCM remake, then it's probably going to theaters too. It's friggin goofy and stupid. But, it's only a 46 second teaser. Hopefully the full one will actually have some sort of sense to it.
