Making a Difference

Recommended Posts

Guest ViciousFish

Looking at the current roster who do you think IS going to make the biggest difference right now and who do you think COULD make the biggest difference?

I personally feel that Jericho right now is going to make the biggest difference. I'm not even sure how he's going to do it but its a gut feeling that I have. Something I just feel.

Matt Hardy I feel though could make the biggest difference. More than Jericho and Benoit he bridges the gap between cruiserweight and main eventer, kind of like Jerry Lynn has done in TNA, because he's never been pushed as a main event threat like Benoit or Jericho. He has a pretty good gimmick, I love it but I know people who don't so I'm being conservative, and he's decent on the mic. His work is at least above average if not outstanding and he's more than willing to put people over.

For Raw it will be Jericho, for Smackdown it will be John Cena.

It will probably be a group effort, but there will be one person that immediately stands out above the rest with Angle's injury (otherwise he would be up there as well).

Brock Lesnar is really the only guy at this point who can single-handedly save this company.

EDIT: Other than someone like Shane McMahon.

Positive: Jericho.

Negative: Kevin Nash

Smackdown!

Positive: Cena or Angle when he comes back.

Negative: Torrie Wilson or Sable.

When you talk about making a difference you have to be talking about only one guy.....FATU :P

On a serious note, i dont think 1 guy can make a difference so i'll name 2 on each roster

RAW:

1)Jericho

2)The Rock (Fulltime)

Smackdown:

1)Brock Lesnar

2)MAtt Hardy

I would've said Booker T, but I think he's going to get the Lex Luger treatment, if even that (see: 1 week title reign).

I think a guy like Cena can bring in some new viewers if given the ball. Something they should do would be crash the MTV New Years show. He could cut a huge promo on the wasck acts they show and shit like that. Gets people talking.

No. I'm not willing to let Shane "Take the Test". At least now when Test gets pushed and no one cares, they stop it for a while. I don't trust Shane to do that. World Champion Test is not something I'm willling to accept.

Just because he is friends with Shane doesn't mean that Test will be champ or anything. I'd rather Shane than VInce personally,

I never understood why so many people think that Shane is some kind of savior. Has he done anything in the past that I'm not aware of to suggest that he is?

Is that a risk you're willing to take?

Considering it could very well be the same as we have now? Might as well.

They need to let Mattitude run wild on Smackdown and stop putting him on Velocity every other week.

They also need to give him some credible M'Fers instead on perennial jobbers like Shannon Moore and Crash.

Then, Mattitude will save all.

Yeah, c'mon AS. Forget Brock, Test is the next big thing!

I can see it now! Can't you?

It's still Test. And he's worse than HHH.

Probably. BUt my point stands: TEST IS THE FUTURE!

:firing: CC

I think the only reason people want Shane McMahon in charge is because he seems to be the least stupid out of all the McMahons.

By the way, AS: every McMahon thinks Test is the future. Steph, Linda, Vince, and Shane. So it would be no different, really.

Plus Shane can pull a match thats at least watchable out of Big Show and a completely kick ass match when he's working with Angle. Lets see Vince do that.

Meh... I can take Test any day over HHH.

Test promos would be short, and he can move somewhat.

I don't think he'd be any worse than HHH.

Precisely. It's just trading in one for the other.
