Guest Eagan469 Posted April 23, 2003 Report Posted April 23, 2003 I use MyIE - great tab browser based on the Internet Explorer core. You can get it here: http://fileforum.betanews.com/detail.php3?...?fid=1029407732
Guest I'm That Damn Zzzzz Posted April 23, 2003 Report Posted April 23, 2003 Mostly Opera, Mozilla for pages that don't display correctly in Opera.
Guest MrRant Posted April 23, 2003 Report Posted April 23, 2003 IE mostly folowed by Mozilla on my Red Hat machine and Konquerer (sp) sometimes.
Guest El Gigante Posted April 24, 2003 Report Posted April 24, 2003 I use the good old Internet Explorer.
Guest Galactic Gigolo Posted April 24, 2003 Report Posted April 24, 2003 I just downloaded MyIE and it kicks ass. On Internet Explorer, with Pop-Up Stopper one, there would usually be a few second delay when I got to 1wrestling due to it stopping 85 pop-ups. There was no delay with MyIE, so it looks like I'll be sticking to this program.
Guest VinnySmack Posted April 24, 2003 Report Posted April 24, 2003 I switch between MSN Explorer and Mozilla. My IE is completely screwed and so far seems unfixable.
Guest VinnySmack Posted April 24, 2003 Report Posted April 24, 2003 Whoa! I just downloaded that MyIE2 and it's fast! Does it have any trouble running pages, plugins, etc. that anyone knows of? Or does it run pretty much everything?

Or does it run pretty much everything? If you're using MyIE you can customize pretty much everything (ways pages load, etc.). Be sure to go to Options-MyIE2 Options-Advanced and check "enable IE plugin support" Then restart the browser, go Options-MyIE2 Options-Advanced-IE Plugins and check whatever you used to use with Internet Explorer. Restart he browser a final time and all the toolbars/plugins should appear. This setting allows you to use Google Toolbar and have an AIM icon in your top-right corner
Guest hardyz1 Posted April 24, 2003 Report Posted April 24, 2003 I use Opera at home, IE at school's Windows comps., Konqueror on school's Linux comps. I'll have to check out that MyIE later.
Guest Plushy Al Logan Posted April 24, 2003 Report Posted April 24, 2003 Internet Explorer Every Rose Has It's Thorn!
Guest eiker_ir Posted April 24, 2003 Report Posted April 24, 2003 i use MSN explorer because that way i have mails, messenger and everything all in one
Guest KingOfOldSchool Posted April 24, 2003 Report Posted April 24, 2003 Well, I marked other, because I didn't realize that IE Opera had switched it's name to Avant. Reason for that being I haven't updated it in a while, until today. So, I use Avant mainly. And if something doesn't load right, I switch to IE.
Guest VinnySmack Posted April 25, 2003 Report Posted April 25, 2003 Thanks for the tips. I really like this browser.
Guest MarvinisaLunatic Posted April 25, 2003 Report Posted April 25, 2003 I use IE 6.0 with the Google and Yahoo Tool Bars. I might check out that MyIE thing though..
Guest MarvinisaLunatic Posted April 25, 2003 Report Posted April 25, 2003 MyIE is actually pretty awesome, although its got way too many buttons and crap, but at least you can get rid of them easily. Thumbs up so far..
Guest Eagan469 Posted April 25, 2003 Report Posted April 25, 2003 MyIE is also skinnable - I use the WinXP skin found on this site: http://www.skinnable.com/myie2/skins.asp
Guest DerangedHermit Posted April 25, 2003 Report Posted April 25, 2003 I use Netscape 7.0 and sometimes Mozilla (well, they're practically one in the same). I also use IE if something doesn't work on Netscape, or if I'm using a slower computer than this.
