Chopin's The Awakening

Okay, I read The Awakening, and I thought it was a decent book. The ending wasn't my favorite, but what can you do?

Now, I have a project/presentation of sorts and I was wondering if anyone had any suggestions. I was thinking of a eulogy spoken by Mademoiselle Reisz, or perhaps even a song 'written' by Leonce that I can play on the spoons.

Those are both better than anything I'd come up with. Though I did always want a big shark with the word "PATRIARCHY" painted on the side of it to jump out of the water and eat her, though that might have changed the themes a wee bit...

Aie yie yie... I dunno, but I never really got into it. It was a decent book, but being in an AP class that got turned into a Feminine literature class because of me being the only guy for 2 friggin' years kinda killed it off since no one really understood some of my takes on the book. But I have to say it's a far better read that Tess of the D'Ubervilles. *Shudders at the thought of reading Tess again*

I'd take the spoons option, though. Music can sooth any cold-hearted English teacher.

Thanks...now to think of lyrics...

Honestly, the eulogy would just be Reisz saying "Bah!" to everyone and yelling at Adele (Which would be cool, because there's a girl named Adell in my class and I could yell at her...)

I know, I know, it's surprising to find out that some of us can read...

Apparently you guys didn't realize that I was asking for lyrics or an idea for the eulogy or something along those lines...
