Guest HHH123007 Report post Posted April 24, 2003 The script is very "blah"..... But it looks good....
Guest 5_moves_of_doom Report post Posted April 24, 2003 Teaser trailer doesn't look great, but it's Tarentino, I'm sure he won't dissapoint, even if it is just a stylish popcorn flick of some sort.
Guest notJames Report post Posted April 24, 2003 I wonder how it connects to the other movies in the Tarantino Universe? According to wherever I read it, Kill Bill is in the realm of "films people would watch in the Tarantino Universe." By that I mean, you won't see any of Kill Bill's characters mingling with Vincent Vega or Mr. White, but if either of those two were to ever go to a theatre after eating at Big Kahuna Burger, this is what would be playing. Sorta in the realm of Natural Born Killers or From Dusk 'Til Dawn.
Guest razazteca Report post Posted April 24, 2003 I just thought of something, remember in Pulp Fiction when Uma's character was talking about the pilot she had as an action star, Foxy 5 something, What If this is a Movie within a Movie about Foxy 5!!! Guest DawnBTVS Report post Posted April 24, 2003 I think Uma's "role" was in a show called Fox Force 5 not Foxy
Guest notJames Report post Posted April 24, 2003 Raven McCoy, an expert with knives taught by her grandfather, an old vauldvillian actor, to be exact. And no, this movie isn't about that. Although, it would have been a cute idea.
Guest Agent of Oblivion Report post Posted April 24, 2003 No it wouldn't. Fox Force Five was a lousy pilot that no one picked up. Why would that be a good movie?
Guest DrTom Report post Posted April 24, 2003 Because of the ketchup joke. ... Ok, maybe not.
Guest notJames Report post Posted April 24, 2003 Because it's Charlie's Angels plus two! Who wouldn't go to see that?!?!?!?!? :raises hand:
Guest razazteca Report post Posted April 24, 2003 Alot of pilot tv shows get recast and rewritten before the 1st show hits the air after the pilot is made. Maybe they made Raven McCoy into a super ninja super spy that has fantasies about being in "classic" martial arts & spy movies of the past. Hell it could be one F'ed up Itallian noir mystery, What is reality type of movie. You know how Tarantino likes to pull stuff out of his ass about being a video rental clerk with all the retro material.
