I guess the first question I would have is why does the strike team turn sour when they see all the money from the money train laid out before them? Any thoughts?

If you didn't know what was going on it might have made it boring for you. Plus it takes getting used to that they don't take their first commercial break for 30 minutes or so.

Guest Cerebus Posted April 24, 2003 Report Posted April 24, 2003 Day One was one of those episodes you would only enjoy if you had been watching from the very first episode. It is like watching a prequel to a movie you havn't seen. No way you'd enjoy it as much unless you had seen the original.

I can understand her being afraid for her life with the people after Vic, but when he comes to the door, why does she need to act like he's there to kill her. Max, get a hold of season 1 and watch episode 1. That shit hooked me in a second.

I have to agree with the last statement... picking the show up anywhere else will definatly give you a "meh, I don't care for this" attitude in most cases... But The Pilot is by far THEE episode to watch to get into the show. Hell, the montage at the end is enough. SOOOOOOOO well done, can't say enough good things about it.
