Kurt Angle Mark 0 Report post Posted April 24, 2003 By Dave Meltzer As things are currently planned, Brock Lesnar vs. Big Show will be the co-main event for the Judgment Day PPV in Charlotte
Guest nikowwf Report post Posted April 24, 2003 Wow, i am so there. The latest in their lineage of awesome clashes. Watching Big Show blow up 2 minutes into the match and Brock Lesnar actually having to lift him with no help because Big Fat Slow is having a heart attack during the match is a truly awe-inspiring thing. niko
Guest El Satanico Report post Posted April 24, 2003 whaaat...why again I guess Vince thinks Big Show has been built up as a legit threat by tagging with Albert squashing Tajiri and Funaki and beating Rey and Tajiri
Guest Showstoppa Icon Report post Posted April 24, 2003 so.....having him fight Rey Jr builds up Big Show for the title match?
Guest Cerebus Report post Posted April 24, 2003 I trust Dave Meltzer as much as the next guy but...this is too awful to be believed!
Guest Anglesault Report post Posted April 24, 2003 HHH/Nash and Show/Lesnar? Oh My God.
Guest nikowwf Report post Posted April 24, 2003 BTW, so this will be the co-main event with HHH/Nash, huh? I hope they don't do anything worthwhile on the show if this is the case, cause I'll have to miss it. niko
Bored 0 Report post Posted April 24, 2003 By Dave Meltzer As things are currently planned, Brock Lesnar vs. Big Show will be the co-main event for the Judgment Day PPV in Charlotte Well this really doesn't come as a surprise and not just simply for love of big men but they do need to keep lining up automatic title defense wins for Brock before SummerSlam, which is the earliest I could see him dropping the belt. That just leaves Vengence (the first Smackdown ppv) before SummerSlam which would either have to be Benoit or Undertaker. I still think HHH will move over to Smackdown by SummerSlam to beat Brock but that is for another day.

Guest Anglesault Report post Posted April 24, 2003 At least Angle, probably Eddy, and either Benoit or RVD will be as far from this mess of a PPV as possible.

Guest Lord of The Curry Report post Posted April 24, 2003 *Puts down lawnchair, grabs beer .* Well, I'm getting front row seats for this bonfire that is the WWE. C'mon guys, there's plenty of room.
Guest notJames Report post Posted April 24, 2003 Again, the conspiracist in me is saying that this is merely a pre-emptive strike to ensure that the supposed RAW main event of HHH v. Nash gets both top billing and top praise (by default). Isn't politics grand?

Nash gets both top billing and top praise (by default). Isn't politics grand? Kinda reminds me of when Goldberg (Brock Lesnar) won the World Title in WCW but Hogan (Nash) and Nash (HHH) continued to get top billing. Then of course later that year Nash (HHH) beat Goldberg (Brock) at Starrcade (SummerSlam) to kill Goldberg's (Brock's) heat.
Guest Anglesault Report post Posted April 24, 2003 *Puts down lawnchair, grabs beer .* Well, I'm getting front row seats for this bonfire that is the WWE. C'mon guys, there's plenty of room. Luckily, injuries ensure that Edge and Angle will escape this mess unscathed. Terrible booking will save Benoit or Eddy or RVD. HHH and Nash just may crash and burn
Bored 0 Report post Posted April 24, 2003 Oh and I guess it now goes without saying Big Show is squashing Rey this Sunday. Damn and silly me I actually thought (before this) the only reason to book a match like that is to have Rey go over.
Guest Lord of The Curry Report post Posted April 24, 2003 Actually AS Benoit, Eddy, Edge and Angle arrived a few minutes ago and they're pretty hyped to watch the place burn. Jericho tried to get in but I showed his picture to security and they stopped him at the gate.
