Guest Trivia247 Report post Posted April 25, 2003 OVW TV Taping Results (4/23/03) Louisville, Kentucky Aaron "Lurch" Wilson [email protected] DARK MATCH -Seven w/ Synn defeated Eric Angle -Rene Dupre & Lance Cade w/ Bolin Services defeated Mark Henry & BJ Payne -Matt Morgan, Nick Dinsmore and Johnny Jeter joined Jim Cornette for an in-ring interview segment. They discussed the Six Flags Kentucky Kingdom show where Johnny Jeter pinned Doug Basham in an Ironman match and avoided a pinfall attempt by Damaja to help his team win the match. Cornette announced that on 5/30 Johnny Jeter will team with Scott Steiner to take on Kanyon and Doug Basham; as Jeter has beef with Kanyon as well. Another match that was announced by Nick Dinsmore in a special challenge is Nick Dinsmore vs. Rob Conway in a Coal-miners glove on a pole match. -Matt Morgan defeated three men in a Tug of War Contest. Maurice came out and tried to tie the three men's rope around the pole, but referee Ray Ramsey caught him and didn't allow it to happen. Matt Morgan then gained the victory. -Matt and John from Tough Enough 3 were shown sitting ringside, and announced that they have began to continue their training here in OVW. -Jim Cornette was joined by Bradshaw and Ron Simmons, the current OVW Southern Tag Champions in a promo running down Rene Dupre and Lance Cade. The three made very many references to Maurice, Dupre's valet, being gay. The APA will defend their titles against Cade and Dupre on 5/4 at Derby Park Expo 5. -Chris Cage & Nova defeated Mark Magnus & Orlando Jordan -To hype up the Kenny Bolin vs. Western High School Wrestling Coach Vinegar, Kenny Bolin had an arm wrestling match against Maurice, who was joined by Jerome Croney and Nurse Lulu. Bolin won by using two hands as Jim Cornette was distracted by Jerome Croney. After the segment Matt Morgan stormed the ring where all but Croney escaped, and Morgan put Croney through the arm wrestling table. -TV MAIN EVENT Nick Dinsmore defeated "Badd Dogg" Rodney Mack.
