Guest The Superstar Posted April 25, 2003 Report Posted April 25, 2003 Wow, that build for Superstar/Some Guy is SPECTACULAR~~~~~~~~~~~~ (my fault I know) Great show, btw. And did Anglesault REALLY write that 6-man? I'm SHOCKED and APPALLED.
Paul Stanley Posted April 25, 2003 Report Posted April 25, 2003 Classic stuff! Keep up the good word. MAH-LIBUH NUMBAH 1!!!
Guest Lightning Flik Posted April 25, 2003 Report Posted April 25, 2003 (edited) All I gotta say is this: WTF? Slacks managed to nail the Slack Off and NOT be the first person out? I mean, I know TE's heelish and thusly need to be built up well, but seriously... Slacks not eliminated first? THE SLACKER IS GOD~! *finds out who wrote it* ...I guess that should be: ANGLESAULT IS GOD~! And Anglesault, thanks for making my guy look like good, while still being his slacky self. Dammit, good ME. I'm shocked at how it was written as it was VERY good. Edit: The whole show was great BTW. Can't wait for LA~! YEAH BABY~! Edited April 25, 2003 by Lightning Flik
Guest Chuck Woolery Posted April 25, 2003 Report Posted April 25, 2003 ::poses with both belts:: I don't know what to say about the show, honestly - it flowed very well, and the main event came off exactly how I envisioned it. I'm unsure as to how the opening promo was and I know I screwed up the continuity with BK, but beyond that... feedback? Please?

Guest Some Guy Posted April 25, 2003 Report Posted April 25, 2003 Wow, that build for Superstar/Some Guy is SPECTACULAR~~~~~~~~~~~~ (my fault I know) I got screwed! ::Cries:: I liked the show and that promo by Some Guy was amazing.
Guest Kingpk Posted April 25, 2003 Report Posted April 25, 2003 Awesome effort from all involved. Poor SD though: didn't get the 24/7 title, got a brass sandwich and then got his head bashed in at the end.
Guest The Mad Cappa Posted April 25, 2003 Report Posted April 25, 2003 Well I liked the show. I nearly spit the coke I was drinking when I was reading the Macho Man segments! I thought the show was solid. And oh yea, FOSHI NUMBAH 1!!!

Guest MillenniumMan831 Posted April 25, 2003 Report Posted April 25, 2003 Holy Moly! Good show . . . It seemed really easy to just evision everything going on w/o having to fill in the blanks yourself. I figured TE would be in the 8-Man Main Event, but I had NO idea the stable was going to come out as strong as . . . dare I say, the nWo Version 1?

I figured TE would be in the 8-Man Main Event, but I had NO idea the stable was going to come out as strong as . . . dare I say, the nWo Version 1? Hehehehe... nWo... If we're matching each group up, I'm Scott Hall then. Calvin is Hogan, Simmons is Nash, and Colvid is um.... Randy Savage? Which would make Candie, Elizabeth. Can't remember who was the fourth member of nWo before it became diluted stuff.
Guest Some Guy Posted April 25, 2003 Report Posted April 25, 2003 Savage came after Giant, DiBiase, Vincent, X-Pac, Big Bubba, Buff, Norton, Chono, and Muta, and a few others I think.
Guest Chuck Woolery Posted April 25, 2003 Report Posted April 25, 2003 ::poses:: Amen, brother! This is the most dominant force in the history of OAOAST... brother!

I'll be in the Danger Zone, West of London, England East of the Pacific Ocean South of Mars, and North of Hell! YEAH!
Guest Lightning Flik Posted April 25, 2003 Report Posted April 25, 2003 I did the six man. Still are God though. Since you are God, if I jobbed to you, would that be considered a sacrifice for better things to come?
Guest Lightning Flik Posted April 25, 2003 Report Posted April 25, 2003 Savage came after Giant, DiBiase, Vincent, X-Pac, Big Bubba, Buff, Norton, Chono, and Muta, and a few others I think. Well, he was the only person I could think of, Savage was. The nWo's history is one of my bad spots in werstling? I can't think of why.
Guest Lightning Flik Posted April 25, 2003 Report Posted April 25, 2003 ::poses:: Amen, brother! This is the most dominant force in the history of OAOAST... brother! Uh, Cal, its brutha. Gotta make sure you do it just like Hogan. Cause, you be like Hogan. ...well, except you got talent in the ring. You cut better promos, and lead a better stable. Ok. You just much better than Hogan. Say the word however you want~!
LaParkaYourCar Posted April 25, 2003 Report Posted April 25, 2003 Poor SD I didn't know I was beating him down during the match and after the match! Great show. It did flow quite well and I am now a Foshi Mark!
Guest Zack Malibu Posted April 25, 2003 Report Posted April 25, 2003 I'm responsible for the 8 man. I'm actually glad you guys liked it, as last night my computer crashed RIGHT IN THE MIDDLE OF WRITING THE MATCH. I cried to MVS about it on AIM, lol. So this morning I woke up earlier than usual, to make sure I had it done before I left for work. I feel that I rushed certain parts of it, but I'm glad TE is satisfied with how they came out looking. Major props to you all.
Guest Big Poppa Popick Posted April 25, 2003 Report Posted April 25, 2003 i think macho man's a good fill for an interviewer for y'all nice rebuttal sg, im sure i'll be throwing down a reply sometime =) the show seemed a little promo-laden and not alot of matches, something that i think we have a problem with on iZ...but then again thats my only real complaint...im thinking there were 3? matches. though the best build in the company has got to go to caboose's confidential...by the time he finally rolls this one out...so much has happened since that he should do a confidential 2
LaParkaYourCar Posted April 25, 2003 Report Posted April 25, 2003 The matches were long though so it didn't feel like there were less matches.
Guest Lightning Flik Posted April 25, 2003 Report Posted April 25, 2003 The matches were long though so it didn't feel like there were less matches. Just be happy I ain't got a match that I'd really wanna write up. Cause it'd be hella long for a PPV one. Oh, and Zack, can I job to you just for the hell of it? Considering your computer crashed, you still put on a hell of a match for everyone involved. I did noticed that everything felt ... not rushed certainly ... but rather very high energetic. Made the match feel even better paced like an 8 man tag match should be. So I guess your computer crashing was a good thing.
LaParkaYourCar Posted April 25, 2003 Report Posted April 25, 2003 I loved the matches. I wasn't saying that as a bad thing.
Guest caboose Posted April 25, 2003 Report Posted April 25, 2003 Another awesome promo from Some Guy. I knew there was a reason I missed you being around in the OAOAST. Is it me or is HeldDown just far easier to digest than IZ? I'm not saying IZ is bad, it's just HeldDown's matches are more direct and too the point. IZ has PPV size matches and it will take away from more important matches in the long run. While HD stylke matches means PPV matches will mean more.
Guest Lightning Flik Posted April 25, 2003 Report Posted April 25, 2003 I loved the matches. I wasn't saying that as a bad thing. Parka I was making a JOKE~! Note that my character's name is SLACKER. Hence why the fuck would he be involved in a long, boring assed match? Oh, and Anglesault, the 6 man was a great match~! Don't let me let you think that it isn't a great match as well.. Its just Zack makes the ME awesome, cause he made Slacks look strong. Of course there was TONS of interference, but Slacks still looked like he could kick Shattered Dreams all on his lonesome.
Foshi Posted April 25, 2003 Report Posted April 25, 2003 Excellent show once again. I appreciate the fans. Buy the merchandise.
