Backlash ppv

As of right now, pre-split, this is what I propose/assume should happen at Backlash:

 

Triple H vs. Undertaker (Rumored match on the 'net...I say that Vince gets Undertaker in the draft, and sics him after Triple H for sending Steph packing, and also to bring the titles to Smackdown.  If 'Taker gets motivated, they may be able to have a really good brawl)

 

Kurt Angle vs. Edge-Could be Edge's "breakthrough" feud, although the feud with Christian should have elevated both, but why complain now...Angle is like Flair, able to get a good match out of anyone, and if booked right, this feud could elevate Edge to the "upper echelon".

 

Hogan/Rock vs. Outsiders OR Hogan/Rock vs. Outsiders/X-Pac:

 

For some reason, I see the BATB '96 scenario happening here...Hogan and Rock fight against the 3 on 2 odds.  In the weeks building up to the PPV, Austin's unhappiness could lead into an angle where he continues to do what he wants, draft or no draft, he goes where he wants to.  During the match, we get a ref bump, Nash powerbombs someone through the table, anything...Austin runs out, seemingly to make the save, only to turn on Rock and Hogan.  Austin would have effectively shot past Hall and Nash on the heel totem pole, and set himself up for the "dream match" against Hogan.  Not much logic in turning Austin heel, but it's the WWF, and logic is out the window.

 

RVD vs. Jericho (IC Title)-Jericho could be mad about losing the title, and try to maintain his momentum by beating the IC champ and becoming the official #1 contender.

 

Rob Van Dam vs. Test (IC Title)-could be another "Bring the belt to me" scenario set up by Vince, or just a highly entertaining spotfest to get Rob over as an innovator and bump machine, and Test as a monster

 

Billy, Chuck and Rico vs. The Hardy Boyz and Lita (could start an angle stemming from what happened on this past Smackdown-if the teams are broken up in the draft, I see one Hardy and one Dudley, probably Buh Buh and Jeff, taking on Billy and Chuck.)

 

Diamond Dallas Page/Mystery Partner vs. William Regal/Christian-could bring back Kanyon, Mike Awesome, Kidman, ####, ANYONE, for this match...also could stick Maven in there, with Christian angry for Maven sneaking up on him to regain the Hardcore Title at WM.  Could turn Booker face, have Regal make fun of him for being "uneducated".

 

Brock Lesnar vs. Al Snow-Brock trashed Al, as well as Al's "boy" Maven in his debut.  Al can still go, and as a trainer on Tough Enough and a very adept wrestler, could make the monster look good in his first shot.

 

Other things that could be done could be a Hardcore Clusterfuck (maybe as a "setup" to get Lesnar in the ring so all the guys he's victimized can attack...Lesnar could run through them all, or have another youngster/WCW guy show up with Paul E. and help wipe them out)-Regal/Page rematch-Kane vs. Lesnar (Kane can go when he wants, and to put Lesnar over him this early could truly get Brock over as a killer heel)
