Almost every wrestler has gone through a period, usually a stale face run (Jericho, Austin, Rocky) that makes me lose interest.  There is only one wrestler that, while he's not currently my favorite, that I have always liked...  CHRISTIAAAANNN!!!  He was cool w/ the Brood, he was cool with Edge as both mysterious goths and as the Bill and Ted of the WWF, and I like his character now, even though he gets little TV time.

 

2. What wrestler have you never liked and never will?

 

Jeff Jarrett.  I never could figure out what people saw in him.

 

3. What would it take for you NOT to like the given wrestler?

 

If he had a valet.  That would suck.

I guess it would take him not boring me with his dull style, weak finisher, the overuse of flimsy guitar bashings, and the horrible catchphrase.  I don't care how over it was, "Slapnuts" is just retarded.

1) What wrestler have you always like, and more than likely always will?  - I'll try and stay away from the obvious Austin, Flair, Angle, etc. and say Kanyon.  He always works hard in the ring, has lots of cool moves, never fails to entertain me on the mic, and doesn't take himself too seriously. Even when he was Mortis, his talent was apparent, he injected some life into the otherwise pitiful Blood Runs Cold angle and matches.

 

2) What wrestler have you never liked, and more than likely never will?  Kane.  I don't dispute that he's a pretty good wrestler for his size.  It's through no fault of Glen Jacobs really, but I've never really gotten pumped up for a Kane match or been interested in a feud of his. It's a very limiting character and should've been dropped a long time ago.  Three plus years of basically no interviews, not much character development, along with far too many face/heel turns, have just made me more and more sour on Kane.  

 

3) What would it take for you NOT to like the given wrestler?  I guess if he were to get lazy in the ring AND forget how to talk..

 

4) What would it take for you TO like the given wrestler?  If Glen could come in with a completely new character..

1) What wrestler have you always like, and more than likely always will?  Rob Van Dam - The whole attitude, and his ring work are light years ahead of his contemporaries (anyone who has seen him before the WWF knows we've yet to see all this man can do).

 

2) What wrestler have you never liked, and more than likely never will?  Konan - He's always been one of the WORST, in my opinion.  Terribly childish attitude, and effing atrocious in the ring. Arriba la Razza This, K-Dawg!!!

Beyond obvious ones like Chris Benoit and Bret Hart, I'd probably say The Rock.  I love him in the ring, I love him on the mic, and even if he's not a usual smark favorite, I prefer him over almost everyone else in the company.

The Dudley Boyz.  Best tag team ever my ass, they're both out of shape, formulaic hacks.  Bubba especially is one of my least favorite wrestlers in the entire WWF.  Nothing makes me change the channel faster than their stupid intro pyro.

 

3) What would it take for you NOT to like the given wrestler?

 

Those few weeks where every single one of his promos revolved around The People's Strudel tested my patience, I must say.  As long as he stays away from that, he can do no wrong in my eyes.

With them in their current gimmick with their current workrate (or lack thereof), absolutely nothing.  I guess if Bubba lost fifty pounds and learned to work and DeVon used that awesome neckbreaker in every match, I might give them a chance.

1. I've always liked Angle. He's always impressed me in the ring and on the mic.

2. HHH. Ironically, one of my favorite matches from 2001 was Austin/HHH from NWO. I just don't like the guy.

3. I loved the beginning of Angle's face run, but near the end of it, I had grown tired of it, and had it continued much longer, I would have begun to dislike him. I welcomed the heel turn, because Angle's face period hit its peak at SummerSlam.

4. I just don't like HHH. Whether it's the rumors of abusing backstage power or the fact that he's very overrated, I don't know. I think he's a limited wrestler with erratic psychology who's boring on the mic.

Benoit, just for his intensity, skill and no nonsense approach

Sid Vicious, I like big man power moves and I like his promos, for the humour when he screws up or his intense psycho attitude

Benoit, if he tried to become more of an entertainer as in started a comedy act or tried to cut Rock promos.  It's not his nature, it would just be too unnatural.  I would also hate if he took a Bret Hart bitching for respect angle.

Sid Vicious, if he comes back, his best years are clearly behind him.  If he tries to be a lovable face, I only like the psycopath.
